Mary Schryer
Mary Schryer was a New Brunswick Liberal Party, Liberal Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in New Brunswick, Canada, representing the constituency of Quispamsis (electoral district), Quispamsis. Schryer was elected in the September 18, 2006 2006 New Brunswick general election, general election for the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick. She lost her riding in the September 27, 2010 election. Prior to the election, Schryer was a financial planner and sales manager with Clarica Life Assurance, Clarica, part of Sun Life Financial, in Quispamsis, New Brunswick, Quispamsis, New Brunswick, a director of the area's health services corporation and a member of the town council. She was named to the Executive Council of New Brunswick, cabinet on October 3, 2006. Quispamsis
Quispamsis (, sometimes shortened to ) is a Kings County suburb of Saint John, New Brunswick, located to the northeast in the lower Kennebecasis River valley. Its population was 18,768 as of the 2021 census. History The original inhabitants of the area were the Maliseet First Nation, part of the Wabenaki Confederacy. JP, The name, "Quispamsis" was translated from the Maliseet language and means, "little lake in the woods", the lake being present-day Ritchie Lake. Acadians, British pre-Loyalists and Loyalists settled in the area around 1783, with many receiving land grants along the Kennebecasis and Hammond Rivers. Early life and education Dubé was born on September 26, 1961, in Edmundston, the daughter of Adrien and Huguette Dubé. Eugene McGinley
Eugene Gregory Bernard McGinley (July 31, 1935 – July 16, 2019) was a politician in the province of New Brunswick, Canada. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick in a 1972 by-election to represent the electoral district of Bathurst and was re-elected in 1974 following which he retired from politics. He was re-elected in 2003 to represent the district of Grand Lake. On February 6, 2007 he was elected speaker of the legislature defeating Tony Huntjens and Wally Stiles on the first ballot. He resigned the speakership on October 31, 2007 to accept an appointment to the cabinet as Minister of State for Seniors and Housing. He was left out of cabinet following a November 2008 cabinet shuffle. McGinley did not reoffer in the 2010 election. McGinley was educated at the University of New Brunswick and in Texas.
