Mary Leacy (born March 2, 1986 in Oulart, County Wexford) is an Irish people, Irish sportsperson. She won Camogie All Stars, camogie All Star awards in Camogie All Stars#2004, 2004, Camogie All Stars#2007, 2007 and 2010. She plays camogie with her local club Oulart–The Ballagh GAA, Oulart–The Ballagh and has been a member of the Wexford GAA, Wexford senior inter-county team since 2001. Leacy captained Wexford to the All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football Championship, All-Ireland title in 2007 and won further All Irelands in 2010 and 2011, and a member of the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship 2011#Team of the championship, Team of the Championship for 2011. Oulart–The Ballagh GAA
Oulart–The Ballagh is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in County Wexford, Ireland. The club takes its players primarily from the area around the villages of Oulart and The Ballagh. The club has won the Wexford Senior Hurling Championship on 13 occasions, most recently in 2016. Their main rivals are Buffers Alley. Gael Linn Cup
The Gael Linn Cup is a bi-ennial tournament, representative competition for elite level participants in the women's team field sport of camogie, contested by Ireland's four provincial teams with competitions at senior and junior level on alternate years. The tournament has existed in various guides since 1956, currently the senior tournament is played in even years and the junior tournament in odd years. Joanne O'Callaghan born 1983 in Cork is a camogie player and pharmacy representative, winner of All Ireland medals in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008 , 2009 and 2014. She captained Cork to the All-Ireland title in 2006 and is in her 13th season on the Senior team. She also has Minor and Intermediate All-Ireland championship medals to her credit as well as Ashbourne Cup and Gael Linn honours. All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship
The All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship is a competition for inter-county teams in the women's field sport of game of camogie played in Ireland. The series of games are organised by the Camogie Association and are played during the summer months with the All-Ireland Camogie Final being played on the second Sunday in September in Croke Park, Dublin. The prize for the winning team is the O'Duffy Cup. The men's equivalent tournament is the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. Participants The county is a geographical region in Ireland, and each county organises its own camogie affairs. Cathriona Foley (born 1986 in Cork) is a Lecturer in University College Cork and camogie player and winner of All Ireland medals in 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009. She won All Star awards in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Cathriona captained Cork to the All-Ireland Senior title in 2008 and is also the holder of an All-Ireland Minor medal as well as provincial honours at Minor, Junior, Intermediate and Senior. Holds a Junior 'B', Junior 'A' and Senior 'B' county championship medal with her club and won a Senior 'A' championship title while captaining divisional side Muskerry in 2007. The Ashbourne Cup is an Irish camogie tournament played each year to determine the national champion university or third level college. The Ashbourne Cup is the highest division in inter-collegiate camogie. National Camogie League
The National Camogie League, known for sponsorship reasons as the Very Ireland Camogie Leagues, is a competition in the Irish team sport of camogie, played exclusively by women. The competition is held in three divisions graded by ability. It was first played in 1976 for a trophy donated by Allied Irish Banks when Tipperary beat Wexford in a replayed final. Division Two (originally the National Junior League) was inaugurated in 1979 and won by Kildare. The first two National League competitions started in the autumn and finished in the spring of 1976–77 and 1977–78 respectively. Since then the competition has been completed within the calendar year. The 2001 final was not played until October because of the foot-and-mouth disease outbreak earlier in the year. Leacy's first All-Star came in 2007, the year her two early goals helped Wexford win their first All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship in 32 years, and her second in 2011.
