Martyrs Bus Service
Martyrs Bus Service is a bus operator in Melbourne, Australia. It operates one route under contract to Public Transport Victoria. It is a subsidiary of the Dineen Group. History Martyrs Bus Service was formed in July 1927 by Harry Martyr who commenced a bus service from Warburton to the Melbourne central business district. Hornibrook Bus Lines proprietor Geoff Mountjoy purchased the business in 1979. In September 1990, the Chirnside Park Shopping Centre to Melbourne central business district portion of route 683 ceased. In December 2001 the original depot in the main street was replaced by one in East Warburton. The original depot was turned into a museum. Express Coach Builders
Express Coach Builders is an Australian bus bodybuilder in Macksville. History Express Coach Builders was originally formed as Nambucca River Engineering in 1971. It primarily built custom bodies on mid-sized chassis, initially Leylands and later Hinos, Mercedes, Isuzus, Kamaz although it did body full sized 40foot chassis in both bus and coach configuration. The Dineen Group is an Australian owner of bus and coach companies in New South Wales and Victoria. History In the early 1960s Bill Dineen ran a school run in Trafalgar. In 1968 he purchased Workmen's Comfort Coaches of Trafalgar followed by Warragul Bus Lines. Heyfield Bus Lines was acquired circa 1984. In June 1985 Westenport Roadlines was purchased followed in October 1990 by Panorama Coaches from Don Nugent with 13 buses and coaches. In May 1991 Hurstbridge Coaches was purchased and later merged with Panorama Coaches. In 1995, Berwick Bus Lines was purchased. In 2002, Sandringham & Brighton Coaches was acquired.
