Martti Viitanen
Martti Juho Viitanen (5 January 1913 – 22 January 1980) was a Finnish politician, born in Oulujoki. He was a member of the Social Democratic Party of Finland (SDP). He served as Minister of the Interior from 27 May 1966 to 30 November 1967. Viitanen was the mayor of Lappeenranta from 1954 to 1958 and of Kotka from 1958 to 1967. Oulujoki (municipality)
Oulujoki (formerly ''Oulun maalaiskunta'' or ''Oulu Rural Municipality'') is a former municipality of Finland. The municipality had a population of (1963) and covered a land area of . Its neighbouring municipalities were Kempele, Kiiminki, Muhos, Oulu, Tyrnävä, Utajärvi and Ylikiiminki. The municipality was named after the river Oulujoki. The municipality of Oulujoki was dissolved in 1965, and its area was annexed to Haukipudas, Kempele, Kiiminki, Oulu, Oulunsalo, Tyrnävä, Utajärvi and Ylikiiminki. Kotka
Kotka (; ; la, Aquilopolis) is a city in the southern part of the Kymenlaakso province on the Gulf of Finland. Kotka is a major port and industrial city and also a diverse school and cultural city, which was formerly part of the old Kymi parish. Vaasa Province
The Province of Vaasa ( ; , , Sweden ) was a province of Finland, established in 1775 when Finland was an integrated part of Sweden from the southern part of Ostrobothnia County and disbanded in 1996. The province was named after the city of Vaasa. On the death of Tsar Nicholas I in 1855, a small group of citizens in the city of Vaasa tendered a petition to change the name of the city after him. The name of the city came from the Royal House of Vasa and despite that only 15 citizens were backing the proposal the name of the city was changed to Nikolaistad (russian: Николайстада, fi, Nikolainkaupunki).
