Martina Ohadugha (born 5 May 1991) is a Nigerian international footballer who plays as a midfielder for Nigerian Women's Championship club Rivers Angels and the Nigeria women's national football team. International career She was part of the Nigeria national team in the African Women's Championship of 2012 and 2014, winning the latter. She was also part of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. 2014 African Women's Championship
The 2014 African Women's Championship, the 11th edition of the tournament, was held in Namibia. This tournament, organized by the Confederation of African Football, was also a qualification tournament for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, with top three qualifying for the finals in Canada. It was played on 11–25 October 2014. The tournament marked the first participation of Namibia in the African championship. Also for the first time the defending champions, Equatorial Guinea, were not taking part after failing to win their last qualifying round match. Nigeria defeated Cameroon 2–0 in the final to win their ninth title. Host Namibia were awarded the hosting rights in October 2011. It is the first time they will appear in the final tournament. 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup
The 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup was the seventh FIFA Women's World Cup, the quadrennial international soccer championship contested by the women's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament was hosted by Canada for the first time and by a North American country for the third time. Matches were played in six cities across Canada in five time zones. The 2012 African Women's Championship was a football competition, which was organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The final tournament was held in from 28 October to 11 November in Equatorial Guinea. Qualification A total of 24 national teams entered qualification which was held over two rounds. The NWFL Premiership (formerly Nigeria Women Premier League) is the top-level league for women's association football in Nigeria.
