Martina Fidanza (born 5 November 1999) is an Italian professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team CERATIZIT-WNT Pro Cycling. She is, respectively, the daughter and sister of racing cyclists Giovanni Fidanza and Arianna Fidanza. Ponte San Pietro (Bergamasque: ) is a ''comune'' in the province of Bergamo, Lombardy, northern Italy. It is about northeast of Milan and about west of Bergamo. The Italian National Road Race Championships are held annually. They are a road cycling race which decides the Italian cycling champion in the road racing discipline, across several categories of rider. The event was first held in 1906 and was won by Giovanni Cuniolo. At the beginning there were often back-to-back wins from many riders. Costante Girardengo made the remarkable achievement of 9 wins between 1913 and 1925. Perhaps if it were not for the First World War, which blocked the running of the championship for four years, from 1915 until 1918, Girardengo would have gained additional victories. Despite this, he also holds the record for most consecutive wins, with 7. After his winning streak ended, another Italian cycling legend, Alfredo Binda, won 4 races in a row. Giovanni Fidanza (born 27 September 1965 in Bergamo) is an Italian former professional road bicycle racer, who competed professionally between 1989 and 1997. In the 1989 Giro d'Italia, Fidanza won the points classification. Fidanza also won a stage in the 1989 Tour de France. He now works as a directeur sportif for UCI Women's Continental Team , for whom his daughters have been members; Arianna Fidanza previously rode for the team, From Bergamonews website and Martina Fidanza currently rides for them. Ceratizit–WNT Pro Cycling (UCI code WNT) is a professional women's cycling team, based in Kempten, Germany, which competes in elite road bicycle racing events such as the UCI Women's World Tour. History The team was founded in 2014 as an amateur club team in Sheffield / UK competing in regional and national races with the occasional UCI level race. After three years the team was transformed from an amateur team into a professional UCI team, and is invited to compete in major races all over Europe.
