Martin Österdahl
Erik Martin Österdahl (; born 12 October 1973) is a Swedish television producer and author. From 2008 to 2014 he worked on broadcasts of ''Mästarnas mästare'', '' Allt för Sverige'' and '' Skavlan'' for SVT. His first book, ''Be inte om nåd'' ("Ask no mercy"), was published in 2016. He is currently the European Broadcasting Union's Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was the 18th edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organised by Telewizja Polska (TVP) and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The contest took place on 29 November 2020, and was held in Warsaw, Poland, following the country's victory at the contest with the song "Superhero (Viki Gabor song), Superhero" by Viki Gabor. This was the first time the contest was held in the same country for two consecutive years. ''American Song Contest'' is an American music reality competition television series based on the Eurovision Song Contest. It sees all 50 U.S. states, five territories, and Washington, D.C. compete for the title of Best Original Song. The first and to date, only season of the show consisted of eight episodes airing between March 21 and May 9, 2022 on NBC. The show is hosted by Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson. The 56 entries were divided into five qualifying rounds with the top three songs determined by a public vote and top two determined by a jury panel from each round proceeding to one of two semi-finals.
