Martin Lacey Jr.
Martin Lacey Jr. (born 8 June 1977) is an English circus performer and trainer of wild animals who has achieved fame in Germany. He is the son of Martin Lacey, the circus ringmaster and animal trainer who bred most of the tigers used in the Esso television advertisements in the 1970s. Professional life Lacey is the director of predatory animals at Circus Krone, the largest circus organisation in Europe. As well as lions, he also works with a rhinoceros. In 2004 he performed in the German television series ''Anke Late Night''. He has frequently appeared on German news and entertainment television shows. Martin Lacey (born 1942) is a circus ringmaster, company director and trainer of wild animals. Circus Krone
Circus Krone, based in Munich, is one of the largest circuses in Europe and one of the few in Western Europe (along with Cirque d'hiver, Cirque d'hiver de Paris, Cirque d'hiver d'Amiens and Cirque Royal in Brussels) to also occupy a building. History It was founded in 1905 by Carl Krone (1870-1943) as an animal exhibition. Later the circus was run by his daughter Frieda Sembach-Krone and her husband Carl Sembach-Krone. From 1995 until 2017 their daughter Christel Sembach-Krone ran the circus. Since 1919, the circus has also owned the Circus Krone Building in Munich. The International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo (french: Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo) is an annual circus festival that is held in Monaco every January. Lion taming is the taming and training of lions, either for protection or for use in entertainment, such as the circus.
