Martin Erdmann
Martin Erdmann (born 25 January 1955) is a German diplomat. Career Erdmann was born in Münster, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. He joined the German Foreign Service in 1982. In 1984 he completed his diplomatic-consular state exam and became Personal Assistant of Parliamentary State Secretary (State Minister) Alois Mertes at the Foreign Office, Bonn. From 1985 to 1987 he was delegated as Second Secretary to the German Embassy Helsinki and subsequently until 1990 as First Secretary to the German Delegation to NATO, Brussels. In 1990 he returned to the Foreign Office in Bonn as Desk Officer at the Press Division. In 1993 he was appointed Deputy Press Spokesman of the Federal Foreign Office, Bonn and in 1995 Federal Foreign Minister Klaus Kinkel (Fifth Kohl cabinet) appointed him Spokesman of the Federal Foreign Office, Bonn, a task which Ambassador Erdmann held until summer 1999, after the change of government in fall 1998 under Federal Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer. Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR; ''Northern German Broadcasting'') is a public broadcasting, public radio and television broadcaster, based in Hamburg. Bekir Bozdağ (born 1 April 1965) is a Turkish lawyer and politician of Kurdish origin and current Minister of Justice.http://www.rudaw.net/turkish/middleeast/turkey/060520162 On 6 July 2011 he was appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister in the third cabinet of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. 2017 Turkish Constitutional Referendum
A constitutional referendum was held in Turkey on 16 April 2017 on whether to approve 18 proposed amendments to the Turkish constitution that were brought forward by the governing Justice and Development Party (AKP) and the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP). As a result of its approval, the office of the Prime Minister was abolished and the existing parliamentary system of government was replaced with an executive presidency and a presidential system. The number of seats in Parliament was raised from 550 to 600, while, among a series of other proposals, the president was given more control over appointments to the Supreme Board of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK). The referendum was held under a state of emergency that was declared following a failed military coup attempt in July 2016. Early results indicated a 51–49% lead for the "Yes" vote. Gaggenau
Gaggenau is a town in the district of Rastatt, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located some 8 km northeast of Baden-Baden. History Gaggenau was first mentioned in local records in 1243 under the name "Gaggenaw". The present district of Bad Rotenfels is even older, having been mentioned in a royal donation letter in 1041. Gaggenau remained a small village until the 19th century: Originally part of the Ufgau, it came under the jurisdiction of the marquisate of Baden in the 13th century, and was included in the territory claimed by the Margrave of Baden-Baden in 1535, which held it until 1689. At that time, it was placed under the jurisdiction of the Kuppenheim district of the Bishopric of Speyer.
