Marta Fernández Martín (born 23 August 1966) is a Spanish politician of the party Vox, president of the Cortes of Aragon since 2023. Biography Born in Zaragoza, Aragon, Fernández graduated with a law degree from the University of Zaragoza and worked as a lawyer for four years. After one year as an administrative assistant at Ibercaja Banco, she was in charge of human resources at Osca Gas between 1999 and 2019. Fernández was one of three deputies elected to the Cortes of Aragon for Vox in the 2019 election. In 2023, the party increased to seven seats and she was installed as the president of the Cortes (speaker) after an agreement with the ruling People's Party. She was the second woman in the office, after Violeta Barba. Fernández disabled her previous social media accounts after becoming president. Marta Fernández Farrés (born 21 December 1981 in Barcelona) is a retired Spanish women's basketball player. A 1.80 m (5'11") guard, she won three bronze medals with the Spain women's national basketball team. At club level, she played in 2007 with the Los Angeles Sparks of the United States' WNBA., the Polish team Wisła Can-Pack Kraków and the Spanish teams Universitari Barcelona, Ros Casares Valencia and Perfumerías Avenida, where she retired in 2015. Marta Fernández Vázquez (born September 8, 1973) is a Spanish journalist and writer. Biography Fernández Vázquez was born in Madrid. She holds a degree in journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid. Her career began in 1998 in Telemadrid, as a substitute presenter of the Madrid Directo program and as a reporter in the sports section, she also worked for TVE, in the area of Culture. Marta Fernández Miranda de Batista (November 11, 1923 – October 2, 2006) aka Marta del Pueblo was First Lady of Cuba from 1952 until 1959. She was the second wife of Cuban President Fulgencio Batista, who was overthrown by Fidel Castro in the 1959 Cuban Revolution, which forced the couple to flee permanently into exile. First Lady Fulgencio Batista had already been Cuban President once, from 1940 to 1944. Following his divorce from his first wife in October 1945, he married Marta Fernández Miranda on November 28, 1945.
