Marlon Freitas
Marlon Rodrigues de Freitas (born 27 March 1995), known as Marlon Freitas, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Botafogo. Club career Fluminense Marlon was born in Magé, Rio de Janeiro, and joined Fluminense's youth setup in 2013. On 17 March 2015, he moved to Fort Lauderdale Strikers on a season-long loan deal. Marlon made his senior debut on 4 April 2015, starting in a 0–1 home loss against New York Cosmos. He scored his first goal late in the month, netting his team's second in a 3–1 away success over Ottawa Fury. He returned to Fluminense in December 2015, after scoring eight goals in 31 appearances. Upon returning, Marlon featured as an unused substitute for ''Flu'' during the 2016 season, before joining affiliate club ŠTK Šamorín on loan on 4 January 2017. Magé
Magé () is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. ''Magepe-Mirim'' () was established in 1566 by Portuguese colonists. It is considered to be a calm place, especially compared to nearby Rio. Politics In the October 5th, 2008 municipal elections, Núbia Cozzolino was re-elected mayor with 51% of the vote but had her mandate revoked in 2009 after being impeached on various corruption charges. North American Soccer League (2011–2017)
The North American Soccer League (NASL) was a professional men's soccer league based in the United States. The league was named for, but had no connection to, the original North American Soccer League. The later NASL was founded in 2009, and began play in 2011 with eight teams. From 2013 through 2017, the NASL used a split-season schedule running from April to early November, with a four-week break in July. The spring and fall champions, along with the two teams with best combined spring/fall records met in a four-team single-elimination tournament known as ''The Championship''. The winner of the final claimed the Soccer Bowl trophy. The 2019 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (officially the Brasileirão Assaí 2019 for sponsorship reasons) was the 63rd season of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the top level of professional football in Brazil, and the 16th edition in a double round-robin since its establishment in 2003. The competition started on 27 April and ended on 8 December 2019. The top six teams as well as the 2019 Copa do Brasil champions qualified for the Copa Libertadores. The next six best-placed teams not qualified for Copa Libertadores qualified for the Copa Sudamericana and the last four were relegated to Série B for 2020. Palmeiras were the defending champions. The 2019 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the second division. The competition started on 26 April and ended on 30 November 2019. Twenty teams competed in the tournament, twelve returning from the 2018 season, four promoted from the 2018 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C (Botafogo-SP, Bragantino, Cuiabá and Operário Ferroviário), and four relegated from the 2018 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A ( América Mineiro, Paraná, Sport and Vitória). Red Bull GmbH signed a deal with the promoted team Bragantino.
