Mark Kleinschmidt (rower)
Mark Kleinschmidt (born 28 May 1974) is a German rower. Kleinschmidt won bronze at the 1993 World Rowing Championships in Račice with the coxed four. He was a member of the team that won the silver medal in men's eight at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Oberhausen (, ) is a city on the river Emscher in the Ruhr Area, Germany, located between Duisburg and Essen ( ). The city hosts the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen and its Gasometer Oberhausen is an anchor point of the European Route of Industrial Heritage. Rowing is the act of propelling a human-powered watercraft using the sweeping motions of oars to displace water and generate reactional propulsion.
