Mark Goodier
Mark Goodier (born 9 June 1961) is a British radio disc jockey best known for his time on BBC Radio 1 between 1987 and 2002. He had two spells presenting the station's Top 40 singles chart, from 1990 to 1992 and from 1995 until 2002. He also had a stint on ''Radio 1 Breakfast'' during 1993. He currently presents the mid-morning show between 10am and 1pm on Greatest Hits Radio. Goodier has also presented shows on BBC Radio 2, Classic FM, 102.2 Smooth Radio and Real Radio, and appeared on BBC television as a recurring presenter of ''Top of the Pops'' between 1988 and 1996. Goodier currently presents a morning show on Greatest Hits Radio England at 10am – 1pm (Mon - Fri) and specialist programmes ''The Smash Hits Chart Show'' (Sundays 5pm - 7pm) on Greatest Hits Radio England and Scotland. is a compilation album by the American rock band Nirvana. It consists of their 1990 non-album single "Sliver", B-sides, demos, outtakes, cover versions, and radio broadcast recordings, and as such is not the official follow-up to the band's breakthrough album, ''Nevermind''. The album was released on December 14, 1992, in Europe, and December 15, 1992, in the United States. It eventually reached number 39 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Background Early in 1992, Jonathan Poneman of Sub Pop contacted Gary Gersh, who had previously signed Nirvana to DGC Records, to inform him that Sub Pop still had a number of unreleased early Nirvana recordings in their possession. Nirvana (band)
Nirvana was an American rock band formed in Aberdeen, Washington, in 1987. Maida Vale Studios is a complex of seven BBC sound studios, of which five are in regular use, in Delaware Road, Maida Vale, west London. It has been used to record thousands of classical music, popular music and drama sessions for BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 6 Music from 1946 to the present. On 30 October 2009, BBC Radio 1 celebrated ''75 Years of Maida Vale'' by exclusively playing 75 tracks recorded at the studios over the years. Sybil Ruscoe (born 8th August 1960, Shropshire, England) is a English people, British radio and television presenter. Ruscoe was born in Wem, Shropshire, and began her career on the ''Express & Star'' newspaper in Wolverhampton. She then moved to Radio Wyvern, Beacon Radio and BBC Radio Shropshire. She was teamed with Simon Mayo on Radio 1 Breakfast in 1988 and 89. She also started presenting television during this period, including ''Top of the Pops''. Elizabeth Marguerita Mary Kershaw (born 30 July 1958) is an English radio broadcaster. She is the second longest serving female national radio DJ in the UK (after Annie Nightingale), celebrating 30 years on national BBC Radio in 2017. ''Radio 1's Weekend Breakfast Show'' is a radio show that is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 on weekends. It is currently hosted by Adele Roberts, who took over since January 2021. ''Weekend Breakfast'' was an extension of ''Radio 1 Breakfast'' which, before June 2018, aired on weekdays from 6:30 to 10am, while the weekend show aired on Saturdays and Sundays.
