Mark Durnan
Mark Durnan (born 28 November 1992) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Scottish League Two club Dumbarton. Durnan has previously played for St Johnstone, Queen of the South, Dundee United, Dunfermline Athletic, Falkirk and Alloa Athletic, as well as Arbroath, Stranraer and Elgin City on loan. Career Early career Durnan started his career in the youth system at Clyde before moving to St Johnstone in 2008 but in his time at the Perth club, Durnan failed to have a first-team appearance. Whilst at the ''Saints'', Durnan went out on loan to various clubs. In August 2010, Durnan moved out on loan to Arbroath. On 23 August 2011, Durnan was loaned out to Stranraer for one month and on 11 January 2012, Durnan was loaned out to Elgin City for the remainder of that season. Dumfries
Dumfries ( ; sco, Dumfries; from gd, Dùn Phris ) is a market town and former royal burgh within the Dumfries and Galloway council area of Scotland. The Scottish Football League Third Division was the fourth tier of the Scottish football league system between 1994 and 2013. History The Scottish football league system had operated with three divisions in the Scottish Football League (SFL) from 1975. In 1994, as part of reconstruction to allow the admission of Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Ross County to the league, the SFL was recalibrated to give four divisions of 10 teams. Scottish League One
The Scottish League One, known as cinch League One for sponsorship reasons, is the third tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men's professional football clubs in Scotland. The Scottish League One was established in July 2013, after the Scottish Professional Football League was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. Format Teams receive three points for a win and one point for a draw. No points are awarded for a loss. Teams are ranked by total points, then goal difference, and then goals scored.
