Mark Conway (born 31 January 1964) is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He played at representative level for Yorkshire Under-13s, Yorkshire Under-16s, Yorkshire Colts (Under-19s), England Schools Under-16s, Great Britain Colts (Under-19s, including the first ever Colts tour to Australia, and Papua New Guinea in 1982), and Great Britain Under-21s, and at club level for Stanley Rangers ARLFC, Leeds ( Heritage No. 1116), Wakefield Trinity ( Heritage No. 995) (captain), Dewsbury Rams and Doncaster Dragons (Heritage No.) for coach Colin Maskill, as a and occasionally . Outwood, West Yorkshire
Outwood is a district to the north of Wakefield, a city in West Yorkshire, England. The district is centred on the A61 Leeds Road south of Lofthouse. It grew up as a pit village and was only a small settlement until the 1970s, when construction of new houses caused it to grow and merge with neighbouring settlements such as Wrenthorpe and Stanley. In 2001, it had a population of 7,623. Bramley RLFC
Bramley RLFC was a rugby league club from the Bramley area of Leeds in West Yorkshire, England, that folded following the 1999 season. The club is a famous name in rugby league, having existed before the formation of the Northern Union in 1895. The traditional nickname for the club was 'the Villagers'. Bramley Rugby League Community Club aka Bramley Buffaloes was formed by the fans of the former club with the desire to return to the professional ranks as quickly as possible, continuing the Bramley name, traditions and history. New Zealand National Rugby League Team
The New Zealand national rugby league team (Māori: Tīma rīki motu Aotearoa) has represented New Zealand in rugby league since 1907. Administered by the New Zealand Rugby League, they are commonly known as the Kiwis, after the native bird of that name. The team's colours are black and white, with the dominant colour being black, and the players perform a haka before every match they play as a challenge to their opponents. 1982 Kangaroo Tour Of Great Britain And France
The 1982 Kangaroo tour was the fifteenth Kangaroo tour where the Australian national rugby league team played a number of matches against British and French rugby league teams, in addition to the Test matches. The Australia national rugby league team have generally since 1908 barring wartime, toured Great Britain every four years often capping the tour with matches and Tests in France. This regular touring side (and in recent years all Australian representative sides) are known as the Kangaroos.
