Marius Lode
Marius Lode (born 11 March 1993) is Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Bodø/Glimt. Club career Lode was born in Kvernaland, and started his career in local Frøyland IL. His grandfather comes from Germany. He made his senior debut for Bryne FK on 9 April 2012 against Strømmen; Bryne won that match 3–1. He played as a defender for Bryne until May 2015, when he was banned from playing professional football, due to a positive drug test, that showed use of Ritalin, a medicinal stimulant drug consisting of methylphenidate. Lode tested positive on Ritalin in May 2015, before a match against Sogndal. He stated he had used Ritalin as performance-enhancing drug before university exams. Lode was banned from playing football in ten months and lost most of the 2016 season. Kvernaland
The larger Kvernaland area is an amalgamation of villages in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located along the north end of the lake Frøylandsvatnet. The village is located in both the municipalities of Klepp and Time (and a very small part extends into Sandnes municipality as well). The eastern part of the village (in Klepp) is also known as Orstad and the western part of the village (in Time) is known as Frøyland or simply as Kvernaland. The village of Klepp stasjon lies just southwest of the village on the west side of the lake and the small village of Foss Eikjeland lies just north of the village, along the river Figgjo. The 2020 Eliteserien was the 76th season of top-tier football in Norway. This was fourth season of Eliteserien as rebranding from Tippeligaen. The season was scheduled to begin on 4 April, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Norway the opening games of the season were delayed, first until 2 May, then further delayed until 23 May. The season was scheduled to end 29 November 2020, not including play-off matches, but was rescheduled to conclude on 22 December. On 7 May, the Norwegian government allowed the league to start on 16 June with full training starting immediately. Molde were the defending champions.
