Marios Antoniades
Marios Antoniades ( el, Μάριος Αντωνιάδης; born 14 May 1990) is a Cypriot professional footballer who plays for Cypriot First Division club, Anorthosis Famagusta. He primarily plays as a left-back and more recently as a centre-back. Early life Antoniades was born in Nicosia. Career APOEL Antoniades is a product of APOEL Academies. He made his official debut with APOEL on 10 May 2008, playing the full 90 minutes in a 2007–08 Cypriot First Division match against Anorthosis. He added a further four appearances in the season's domestic Cup and another one appearance two years later in the 2009–10 Cypriot Cup. His second league appearance came on 7 May 2011, coming on as a substitute in a 2010–11 Cypriot First Division match against AEK Larnaca. Nicosia
Nicosia ( ; el, Λευκωσία, Lefkosía ; tr, Lefkoşa ; hy, Նիկոսիա, romanized: ''Nikosia''; Cypriot Arabic: Nikusiya) is the largest city, capital, and seat of government of Cyprus. 2009–10 Cypriot Cup
The 2009–10 Cypriot Cup was the 68th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 28 clubs entered the competition. It began on 23 September 2009 with the first round and concluded on 15 May 2010 with the final which was held at GSZ Stadium. Apollon won their 6th Cypriot Cup trophy after beating APOEL 2–1 in the final. Format In the 2009–10 Cypriot Cup, participated all the teams of the Cypriot First Division and the Cypriot Second Division. Teams from the two lower divisions (Third and Fourth) competed in a separate cup competition. The competition consisted of five rounds. 2014–15 Cypriot First Division
The 2014–15 Cypriot First Division was the 76th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. It began on 23 August 2014 and ended on 24 May 2015. APOEL were the defending champions. The league reduced from 14 to 12 teams this season, comprised ten teams from the 2013–14 season and two promoted teams from the 2013–14 B1 Division. APOEL won the league for a 24th time and a third time in a row, after amassing 62 points. A total of 32 teams competed in the group stage to decide the 16 places in the knockout phase of the 2014–15 UEFA Champions League. Cypriot Super Cup
The Cypriot Super Cup is a Cypriot football trophy, contested in an annual match between the previous season's Cypriot First Division champions, and the Cypriot Cup winners. The match is contested at the beginning of the football season, and is usually played at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia. The most successful team in the competition are Omonia, who have won the trophy on 17 occasions. The current holders are Apollon Limassol, who defeated Omonia 2–0 in the 2022 match. History The first match was played in 1951, under the name Pakkos Shield (Greek: Ασπίδα Πάκκου). Ermis Aradippou
Ermis Aradippou () is a Cypriot professional football club based in Aradippou, a settlement on the outskirts of the city of Larnaca. The club was formed in 1958, and currently plays in the Cypriot Second Division. Ermis' greatest success came in 2014, when they won the Super Cup. Ermis have a long-standing rivalry with their neighbouring club Omonia Aradippou. History Ermis spent most of its history in the Cypriot Second Division, first competing in the top flight in 1983, and appearing in two more editions of the competition during that decade.
