Mário Sérgio Santos Costa (born 29 May 1990), commonly known as Marinho (), is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward for Flamengo. Marinho began his career at Fluminense, and subsequently represented several teams in his home country before impressing with Vitória in 2016. He then moved to Chinese club Changchun Yatai in 2017, but returned to Brazil in the following year with Grêmio. Mário Rui Correia Tomás (born 26 April 1983), known as Marinho, is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a winger. He spent most of his career with Naval and Académica, totalling 209 Primeira Liga games and 23 goals between them and scoring the only goal as the latter won the Taça de Portugal in 2012. He added 103 appearances and 11 goals in LigaPro, for Académica and Fátima. Mário Caetano Filho, better known as Marinho (born 27 February 1955) is a Brazilian former professional football player who played as a centre-back. He is most well-known for his time at Flamengo beginning in 1980. Career Club career Marinho began his career in the youth academy of Londrina in 1973. He made his professional debut on 2 April 1975 as a substitute in a 1-0 victory over América (SP). In 1976 he was loaned to Umuarama and Linense but returned to Londrina that same year. Viewed as a valuable prospect, he caught the attention of São Paulo who he played for on loan in 1977. He only played 5 matches but made part of the team that won the 1977 Brazilian Championship. Club career Born in Lisbon, Marinho started his career with local Atlético Clube de Portugal, making his Primeira Liga debut in the 1962–63 season and suffering relegation as second from bottom. Three of the following four years with the club were spent in the second division.
