Marina Rossell
Marina Rossell i Figueras (born 17 January 1954 in Castellet i la Gornal,) is a Spanish singer in Catalan and Spanish. She's one of the most important singers in the modern Catalan language. She has sung traditional and revolutionary classical Catalan songs, habaneras and her own compositions. Rossell has collaborated with such diverse artists as:Lluís Llach Georges Moustaki, Montserrat Caballé, Luis Eduardo Aute, , Pedro Guerra or the flamenco guitarist Tomatito. She has made numerous tours by Europe, Latin America, northern Africa. Rim Banna
Rim Banna ( ar, ريم بنا; 8 December 1966 – 24 March 2018) was a Palestinian singer and composer who was most known for her modern interpretations of traditional Palestinian songs and poetry. Banna was born in Nazareth, where she graduated from Nazareth Baptist School. She lived in Nazareth with her three children. She met her husband, Ukrainian guitarist Leonid Alexeyenko, while studying music together at the Higher Music Conservatory in Moscow and they married in 2001, and got divorced in 2010. Artistic philosophy Banna first achieved popularity in the early 1990s, after recording her own versions of traditional Palestinian children's songs that were on the verge of being forgotten. Many such songs and rhymes sung by Palestinian families again today are said to be thanks to Banna's work in preserving them via her recordings. Cristina Del Valle
Cristina del Valle (born 1 August 1960) is a Spanish singer and activist. Biography Cristina del Valle was born in Oviedo, Asturias, Spain. In 1980, she went to Madrid to study criminology and since 1978, she has worked in several social action groups, NGOs (Ayora, Solidarios, Apram, and others) and left-wing political parties which worked in support of human rights, for the Sahrawi people or against domestic violence. As a singer, she started with the band Vodebil, but she released her first solo-album in 1989, ''Cris''. In 1991, after meeting her sentimental partner Alberto Comesaña, the couple decided to launch the musical duo Amistades Peligrosas, which grew to great success. José Fernández Torres, known as Tomatito (born Fondón, 1958), is a Spanish roma flamenco guitarist and composer. Having started his career accompanying famed flamenco singer Camarón de la Isla (with Paco de Lucía), he has made a number of collaborative albums and six solo albums, two of which have won Latin Grammy Awards. Biography Beginnings, Camarón de la Isla Jose Fernandez Torres grew up in a musical family, which included two guitar playing uncles: Niño Miguel, a flamenco guitarist, and Antonio, a professional guitarist. Tomatito, who had been playing clubs in Andalucía, became a flamenco sensation when he was discovered by guitarist Paco de Lucía. He accompanied legendary flamenco singer Camarón de la Isla for two decades. With Paco and Camarón he recorded four albums, and had a 1979 hit called "La Leyenda del Tiempo". Castellet I La Gornal
Castellet i la Gornal is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Alt Penedès in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated in the valley of the Foix river at the point where it crosses the Coastal Range. The river is dammed to form the Foix reservoir. The ''ajuntament'' (town hall) is in La Gornal. The municipality is served by the N-340 road, and by a local road to Vilanova i la Geltrú.
