Marin Brbić
Marin Brbić (born 24 August 1961) is a Croatian businessman and economist who served as chairman of the Croatian football club Hajduk Split from 2012 to 2016, and then again from 2019 to 2020. Career Brbić started his career in tourism. He was the hotel director and the board member of the hotel company "Bluesun" with its headquarters in Zagreb. In June 2012, he became the chairman of Hajduk Split. Brbić became president at a time when the club suffered an economic crisis and owned more than 15 million euros of debt. Brbić managed to get a loan from the banks for an amount of almost 4 million euros with the City of Split as bondsman for the loan. He managed to sell the club's most worthy players and lowered the wages drastically. During his time, Anton Maglica was the only player in which Hajduk paid money for a transfer deal in July 2012. Ante Vukušić (; born 4 June 1991) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Serbian SuperLiga club Kolubara. Club career Vukušić started his career playing at youth level for his hometown club Junak Sinj. He joined Hajduk Split in 2007, and during his time at their youth academy was regarded as one of the most promising players. 2017 Croatian Local Elections
The first round of the 2017 Croatian local elections was held on 21 May and the second round, where necessary, on 4 June. All seats of the county prefects, city and municipal mayors and members of county, municipal and city councils were up for election. In total, there were 9,576 open seats contested by 47,601 candidates. Voters were electing: 20 county prefects, 128 city mayors, 428 municipal mayors, 51 deputy county prefects, 195 deputy city mayors, 440 deputy municipal mayors, 63 deputy city and municipal mayors elected by the national minorities, 836 county councilors, 2,226 city councilors and 5,152 municipal councilors. 3,719,182 voters had the right to vote, which was 39,500 fewer than at the previous local elections. Croatian Football Federation
The Croatian Football Federation ( hr, Hrvatski nogometni savez, HNS) is the governing body of association football in Croatia. It was originally formed in 1912 and is based in the capital city of Zagreb. The organisation is a member of both FIFA and UEFA, and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the game of football in Croatia. The current president of HNS is Marijan Kustić. Eternal Derby ( hr, Vječni derbi) also known as the Croatian Derby ( hr, Hrvatski derbi), is the name given to matches between the two biggest and most popular Croatian football clubs Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split. The rivalry can be traced back to 1920s when Zagreb's Građanski and Hajduk often clashed in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia championships. After World War II, Građanski was disbanded by the authorities, and Dinamo Zagreb was formed to take its place, retaining its colours. Dugopolje is a municipality in Croatia in the Split-Dalmatia County. The name ''Dugopolje'' literally translates as 'long field'. The town has a population of over 3469, 99.5% which are Croats. Mijo Caktaš (born 8 May 1992) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for NK Osijek in Prva HNL. Andrija Balić (; born 11 August 1997) is a Croatian footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Slovak side MFK Dukla Banská Bystrica in the Fortuna Liga, on loan from FC DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda. Dino Mikanović (born 7 May 1994) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for HNK Hajduk Split in the Croatian First League.
