Marilou (singer)
Marilou Bourdon (born September 20, 1990) is a French-Canadian pop singer and cookbook author from Longueuil. Early life Bourdon was born on September 20, 1990. At age 8 she began singing for friends and relatives and by age 10 was already a local success. Her first appearance was at an annual concert show. She was discovered in 2001, when she sang a duet with Natasha St-Pier in a Quebec show called ''Stars à domicile''. She started recording by singing children's songs for TV shows and movies. This led to a feature appearance at age 12 on one of French Canada's biggest TV shows where she paid homage to her idol, Celine Dion, as part of a two-hour special that reached 3 million viewers. She sang Dion's first hit song, "Ce n'était qu'un rêve, Ce n’était qu’un rêve", to positive reviews. Longueuil
Longueuil () is a city in the province of Quebec, Canada. It is the seat of the Montérégie administrative region and the central city of the urban agglomeration of Longueuil. It sits on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River directly across from Montreal. René Angélil (; January 16, 1942 – January 14, 2016) was a Canadian musical producer, talent manager and singer. He was the manager and husband of singer Celine Dion. Early life Angélil was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to a father of Syrian descent and a mother of Lebanese origin. His father, Joseph Angélil, was born in Montreal to parents from Damascus, Syria, and his mother, Alice Sara, was born in Montreal to Lebanese parents. Merwan Rim (born 13 July 1977 in Sarcelles, France) is a French actor and singer-songwriter. Biography At the age of 17, Merwan Rim started to learn and instruments as an autodidact. Realizing his gift in musical arts, Merwan decided to become a full-time musician. This decision led him into quitting Paris 13 University where he attended communication studies to enroll in Alice Dona Studios, a performing arts school for future professionals in September 2000. Nine months later, Merwan was cast as ''Ramses'' in the musical '' Les Dix Commandements''. He first was Pow-Wow member Ahmed Mouici's alternate before he took over the role on one year later. Ted Jensen (born September 19, 1954) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered many recordings, including the Eagles' ''Hotel California'', Green Day's '' American Idiot'' and Norah Jones' ''Come Away with Me''. Biography Ted Jensen was born to Carl and Margaret (Anning) Jensen, both of whom were musicians. Carl had studied at Yale University. Margaret went to Oberlin College & Conservatory and Skidmore College and was also a pilot. Carl and Margaret met on a train while going to a choral workshop. Tom Lord-Alge (born January 17, 1963) is an American music engineer and mixer. He began his career at The Hit Factory in New York. Subsequently, he was the resident mixer at what used to be known as "South Beach Studios", located on the ground floor of the Marlin Hotel.
