Marijo Strahonja is a Croatian association football referee who currently officiates in the Prva HNL as well as UEFA competitions such as the European Champions League and the Europa League. Since 2004 he has officiated internationals. The Hrvatska nogometna liga () ( en, Croatian football league), also known as HNL or for sponsorship reasons the SuperSport HNL, is the top Croatian professional football league competition, established in 1992. Previously, it was called Prva Hrvatska nogometna liga (First Croatian Football League), but a league structure reorganization from 2022–23 led to name changes for the three top league levels. Overview The league was formed in 1991, following the dissolution of the Yugoslav First League, and is operated by the Croatian Football Federation. The qualifying competition for UEFA Euro 2012 was a series of parallel association football competitions held over 2010 and 2011 to decide the qualifiers for UEFA Euro 2012, held in Poland and Ukraine. The European zone of qualification for the 2010 FIFA World Cup saw 53 teams competing for 13 places at the finals in South Africa.
