Maria Zankovetska
Maria Zankovetska ( uk, Марія Заньковецька, ''Mariia Zankovetska''; Maria Kostyantynivna Adasovska; August 4, 1854 – October 4, 1934) was a Ukrainian theater actress. There are some sources that date her birth to August 3, 1860. Biography Maria was born to an impoverished landowner and nobleman, Kostyantyn Adasovsky, and a Chernihiv city resident (burgess) Maria Nefedova, in Zanky, Nizhyn County, Chernihiv Governorate (present-day Nizhyn Raion). She had many siblings. Maria was a graduate of the Chernihiv City Female Gymnasium. In 1876, she first appeared onstage in Nizhyn. theater. Her professional career began on October 27, 1882 at the Yelizavetgrad City Theater ( Kropyvnytsky) under the management of Marko Kropyvnytsky. Her first role was Natalka from the Kotlyarevsky play " Natalka Poltavka". Pavlo Petrovych Skoropadskyi ( uk, Павло Петрович Скоропадський, Pavlo Petrovych Skoropadskyi; – 26 April 1945) was a Ukrainian aristocrat, military and state leader, decorated Imperial Russian Army and Ukrainian Army general of Cossack heritage. Skoropadskyi became Hetman of Ukraine following a coup on 29 April 1918. Origin Pavlo Skoropadskyi was born into the Skoropadsky family of Ukrainian military leaders and statesmen, that distinguished themselves since the 17th century when Fedir Skoropadsky participated in the Battle of Zhovti Vody. Herman Heijermans
Herman Heijermans (3 December 1864 – 22 November 1924), was a Dutch writer. Heijermans was born in Rotterdam, into a liberal Jewish family, the fifth of the 11 children of Herman and Matilda (Moses) Spiers. Painter Marie Heijermans was his sister. In the ''Algemeen Handelsblad'' daily, he published a series of sketches of Jewish family life under the pseudonym of Samuel Falkland, which were collected in volume form. His novels and tales include ''Trinette'' (1892), ''Fles'' (1893), ''Kamertjeszonde'' (2 vols, 1896), ''Interieurs'' (1897), ''Diamantstad'' (2 vols, 1903).
