Maria Kraakman
Maria Kraakman (born 5 August 1975) is a Dutch actress. She won the Golden Calf for Best Actress award twice at the Netherlands Film Festival. Career Kraakman won the Golden Calf for Best Actress twice: for her role in the 2005 film ''Guernsey'' by Nanouk Leopold and the 2017 film ''In Blue'' by Jaap van Heusden. She also won the Theo d'Or award in 2010. Kraakman has played roles in various Dutch films, including ''06/05'' (2004), ''My Queen Karo'' (2009) and '' Schneider vs. Bax'' (2015). She has also played roles in theatre plays by Toneelgroep Oostpool, Toneelgroep Amsterdam and Internationaal Theater Amsterdam. Soest () is a municipality and a town in the central Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht. It is about west of Amersfoort. Population centres The town of Soest The oldest documents mentioning Soest (then written as ''Zoys'') date from 1029. My Queen Karo
''My Queen Karo'' is a 2009 drama film. It was directed by Dorothée Van Den Berghe, produced by Frank Van Passel, and starring Matthias Schoenaerts, Déborah François, and Anna Franziska Jaeger. Toneelgroep Amsterdam is the largest repertory company in the Netherlands. Its home base is the Amsterdam Stadsschouwburg, a classical 19th century theatre building in the heart of Amsterdam. Theo D'Or
The Theo d'Or is a Dutch acting award, given annually to the actress with the most impressive leading role of the theater season. It is awarded by the Vereniging van Schouwburg- en Concertgebouwdirecties (VSCD), the main trade organisation for theaters in The Netherlands. The award itself is a golden medal, currently designed by Eric Claus. It was named after the Dutch actress Theo Mann-Bouwmeester. Its male counterpart is the Louis d'Or, named after Theo's brother, Louis Bouwmeester. The Theo d'Or is awarded annually, along with the other VSCD stage awards, at the Gala of Dutch Theater in the Stadsschouwburg in Amsterdam. Jury The jury is compiled of theater programmers, producers and critics, who have explicitly provided themselves in their relative disciplines. Jurors can take part of a jury for maximal six years. New jurors can be nominated by the jury itself or be appointed by the board of the VSCD.
