Hălchiu
Hălchiu (german: Heldsdorf; hu, Höltövény) is a commune in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Hălchiu and Satu Nou (''Neudorf bei Hopfenseifen''; ''Barcaújfalu''). The commune is located in the east-central part of the county, in the northern part of the Burzenland historical region. It lies north of the county seat, Brașov, and belongs to the Brașov metropolitan area. To the west is Dumbrăvița Lake, with a surface area of . This is the only place in Transylvania and one of the few places in Romania where the grey heron nests in reeds. Hălchiu is bordered to the north by Feldioara and Crizbav communes, to the east by Bod commune and the city of Brașov, to the south by the town of Ghimbav, and to the west by the city of Codlea and by Dumbrăvița commune. The Liga Națională is a league of professional women's handball league teams in Romania. Run by the Romanian Handball Federation, the competition is also known as the Liga Florilor MOL and is contested by sixteen teams. The National Handball League is Romania's top-level domestic women's handball-league club competition. The team with the most Liga Națională championships is SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea with twenty. The FRH organization also oversees the Divizia A. The 1963–64 Women's Handball European Champions Cup was the fourth edition of the premier international competition for European women's handball clubs, taking place from November 1963 to April 1964. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team.
