Margrethe Munthe
Margrethe Aabel Munthe (27 May 1860 – 20 January 1931) was a Norwegian teacher, children's writer, songwriter and playwright. Personal life Margrethe Munthe was born in Elverum as the daughter of physician Christopher Pavels Munthe (1816–1884) and Christine Margrethe Pavels Aabel (1827–1887). She was a younger sister of historian and military officer Hartvig Andreas Munthe, painter Gerhard Munthe and older sister of officer Carl Oscar Munthe. She was also a niece of historian and cartographer Gerhard Munthe and an aunt of genealogist Christopher Morgenstierne Munthe, librarian Wilhelm Munthe and painter Lagertha Munthe. Through her mother she was a first cousin of Hauk Aabel, niece of Andreas Leigh Aabel and Oluf Andreas Aabel. Andreas Leigh Aabel
Morten Andreas Leigh Aabel (10 February 1830 – 9 May 1901) was a Norwegian physician and poet. Biography He was born at Sogndal in Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. His father, Peter Pavels Aabel (1795-1869), was the vicar and senior priest in Sogndal from 1824–1833. He was a brother of priest, Oluf Andreas Aabel (1825–1895). He enrolled as a student in 1848, graduated with the cand.med. degree in 1856. Professionally, he worked as a physician from 1853 to 1899, and was a district physician in several Norwegian districts. He first worked as a district physician in Hammerfest followed by private practice in Åsnes. At the end of the 1850s, Aabel became a doctor at Nes in Romerike. In 1864 he was appointed a district physician in Sunnfjord, and the family settled at Falkenstein in Førde. From 1876 to 1885 he was a doctor in Nord Aurdal in Valdres. Ingebrigt Davik
Ingebrigt Davik (14 April 1925 – 29 January 1991) was a Norwegian teacher, children's writer, broadcasting personality, singer and songwriter. Biography Davik was from the island Fjørtofta in Haram municipality on Sunnmøre. He was the son of Nils Johan Gerhard Davik (1888–1954) and Johanna Josefine Inga Olsdatter Fjørtoft (1888–1959). The family moved to Brattvåg when he was 6 years old. He trained as a teacher at Hamar and later as a music educator. He also studied drama at Rogaland Teater in Stavanger. He worked for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation from 1959, and made children's programs both for radio and television. He made several television programs based on the children's songs of Margrethe Munthe. is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Østerdalen. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Elverum. Bolteløkka Skole
Bolteløkka Skole (School) is an elementary school offering primary education from grades one through seven, located in Bolteløkka, Oslo. The campus was designed in Neo-Gothic style with Romanesque influence by state architect Holm Munthe, and opened in October 1898. History Establishment Today's campus grounds were once occupied by a large toad pond, which is said to have been enjoyed by the local youth. At the time, it was located in the countryside. Upon its inception, there were a total of 1299 students receiving education in two shifts, one in the morning (8:00-12:00), and one in the afternoon (12:00-16:00). The campus is split into two schoolyards, originally done to keep boys and girls separated, it is now used to split higher and lower grades (1-4, 5–7). Sigurd Jansen
Sigurd Jansen (born 4 March 1932) is a Norwegian composer, pianist and conductor. Biography Sigurd Alf Jansen was born in Horten, in Vestfold county, Norway. He studied classical music at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. He was a teacher of piano from 1957 to 1962. Jansen has worked as an orchestra leader at Chat Noir, and as jazz pianist, orchestra leader and arranger on a number of recordings. Since 1957 he has worked in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation where he is responsible for the music of a variety of TV programs and movies. His main occupation is to compose, arrange, conduct and play piano. Sigurd Jansen is also a composer and has won several awards for his compositions. Wenche Synnøve Myhre (born 15 February 1947), known in some countries as Wencke Myhre, is a Norwegian singer who has had a great number of hit songs since the 1960s in the Norwegian, Danish, German and Swedish markets and languages. Early career Myhre was born in Kjelsås, Oslo. She got her first recording contract with composer and producer Arne Bendiksen at the age of 13, after winning a talent contest staged by ''Verdens Gang'' newspaper at the Chat Noir theatre in Oslo in 1960. Andreas Bloch (29 July 1860 – 11 May 1917) was a Norwegian painter, illustrator and costume designer. Biography Andreas Schroeter Schelver Bloch was born on the Hellerud farm in Skedsmo, in Akershus county, Norway, as the son of Jens Peter Blankenborg Bloch (1817-1892) and Anne Julie Margrethe Schroeter (1827-1895). Andreas Bloch was a student at the art school of Knud Bergslien from 1878 until 1879. He studied at the Art Academy of Düsseldorf (''Kunstakademie Düsseldorf'') under Johann Peter Theodor Janssen from 1880 until 1881, and made study tours to Belgium, Paris and Leipzig.
