Marco Schällibaum
Marco Schällibaum (born 6 April 1962) is a Swiss football manager and former player. He is the manager of Swiss Challenge League side Yverdon-Sport FC. Playing career As a player Schällibaum played 15 years in the Swiss first division from 1980 to 1995, playing in over 450 games for various top Swiss clubs and won three league titles. He also appeared in 50 Swiss Cup games, winning the Cup in 1983 with Grasshopper. He also played for the Swiss national football team from 1983 to 1988, making 31 appearances. Managerial career Early career After his career, he worked as an assistant coach at FC Basel. In 1999, he became head coach of BSC Young Boys, with whom he led the 2001 resurgence in the National League A and 2002 in the UEFA Cup. For the 2003–04 season he was coach at Servette Geneva. FC Aarau
FC Aarau is a Swiss football club based in Aarau. They play in the Swiss Challenge League, the second tier of Swiss football after being relegated from Swiss Super League. History FC Aarau was formed on 26 May 1902 by workers from a local brewery. The early days of the club were a success and they won the Swiss championship in 1911–12 and then again in 1913–14. The club spent 25 years, from 1907 to 1933, in the top league but were relegated to the lower league and were unable to return to the top flight for a number of decades. In the 1980–81 season the club were able to return to the top league in the Swiss football pyramid after a 3–1 victory over Vevey-Sports. The 2013 Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic was the fourth edition of the Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic, a pre-season exhibition tournament held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida. A total of six Major League Soccer teams participated. The defending champions were the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, but the club did not participate. The Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic is an annual preseason soccer tournament for clubs in North America. Hosted by Disney, it is contested at Hess Sports Fields' Field 17, part of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The Promotion League, named the YAPEAL Promotion League for sponsorship reasons, is the third tier of the Swiss football league system. Eighteen clubs compete in the league, playing each other twice over the course of the season. The champions are promoted to the second tier, the Challenge League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the 1. Liga. The league forms the semi-professional bridge to amateur football.
