Marc Salyers
Marc Douglas Salyers (born February 28, 1979) is an American retired professional basketball player. He played at the small forward and power forward positions. College career Salyers played college basketball at Samford University with the Samford Bulldogs from 1997 to 2001. In his senior season, he averaged 17.2 points per game. Professional career Salyers played his first two professional years with Cimberlo Novara of the Italian Legadue. For the 2003–04 season, he moved to Turkey and signed with Oyak Renault. He was the top scorer of the 2003–04 TBL season, with average of 25.3 points per game. In April 2004, he moved for the remainder of the season to Élan Béarnais Pau-Orthez, and helped them to win the 2003–04 LNB Pro A season. Chorale Roanne Basket is a professional basketball club that is based in Roanne, France. The club plays in the first division LNB Pro A. Their home arena is Halle André Vacheresse. The club was founded in 1937 and the team's colors are blue and white. History In Chorale's history, the team won two national titles; in 1959 and most recent in 2007. BC Sukhumi
BC Sukhumi ( ka, ს.კ. სოხუმი) is a professional basketball club from the city of Sukhumi, that plays in the Georgian Superliga. The club is currently based in Tbilisi. History The club was established in 1991 in Sukhumi. Shortly afterwards, the War in Abkhazia forced the team to leave their home city, and relocate to the Georgian capital. Nevertheless, they managed to complete the 1992-93 season, and have been playing in Tbilisi ever since. The club has played under several names over the years ("Sukhumi-91," "Kolkha," "SSU" and, since 2009, as "Sukhumi"). Their best result in the league is 4th place, which they achieved in 2011 and 2012. FIBA EuroCup All-Star Day
FIBA EuroCup All-Star Day, or FIBA EuroChallenge All-Star Day, was the All-Star Game of the now defunct 3rd-tier level European-wide professional basketball league, the FIBA EuroChallenge tournament. It started in 2004 and lasted for 5 editions until 2008. The FIBA EuroCup All-Star Day was the first All-Star Game organised by FIBA since the FIBA EuroStars and after the 2000 conflict with ULEB which resulted in Euroleague's take over of the latter. The event included a match between Europe and Rest of the World All-Stars, a 3-point shootout contest and a slam-dunk contest (only in the 2007 edition). The LNB Pro A Leaders Cup, or French Basketball League Cup, is the annual national league cup competition for teams from the top-tier level of French professional basketball, the LNB Pro A. It was created in its current form in 2003 (after originally being founded in 1988). It is organized by the Ligue Nationale de Basketball (LNB), which also organizes the top two leagues of French professional basketball (Pro A, and Pro B). Inspired by the Spanish Copa del Rey (Spanish Basketball King's Cup), the ''Final Eight'' format has always been used. At the end of the first half of the regular season, the top eight teams (or the top seven teams and the tournament's host team) from the first division French LNB Pro A League qualify. The Alphonso Ford EuroLeague Top Scorer Trophy, also known as the EuroLeague Best Scorer, is an annual basketball award of Europe's premier level league, the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. It is given to the Top Scorer throughout the EuroLeague season, up until the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four stage of the season. The award, under its current name, began in the 2004–05 season, and is named after the late Alphonso Ford, who was one of the greatest scorers in EuroLeague history.
