Landshut Cannibals
EV Landshut, also known as EVL Landshut Eishockey and formerly known as the Landshut Cannibals, are a professional ice hockey team based in Landshut, Bavaria, Germany. They currently play in Deutsche Eishockey Liga 2, the second level of ice hockey in Germany. They were promoted from the third-tier Oberliga in 2019 after winning the Oberliga finals against the Tilburg Trappers. The team was founded in 1948 as ''Eislaufverein Landshut (EVL)'', but since 2002 the professional operations have been incorporated as a separate entity. From 2002 to 2013 the professional team was competing as the Landshut Cannibals; in 2013 the name was changed back to EVL Landshut Eishockey to more closely reflect the tradition and history of the team. There is close cooperation with the not-for-profit EVL, which is still responsible for non-professional sporting competitions, i.e. junior hockey and figure skating. 2014 Pan American Ice Hockey Tournament
The 2014 Pan American Ice Hockey Tournament was the first Pan American Ice Hockey Tournament, an annual event run by the Federación Deportiva de México de Hockey sobre Hielo. It took place in Mexico City, Mexico between March 2 and March 9, 2014. Canada won the tournament, winning all five of its game and defeating Mexico in the gold medal game. Pan American Ice Hockey Tournament
The Pan American Ice Hockey Tournament (french: Tournois panaméricain de hockey sur glace, es, Torneo Panamericano de Hockey sobre Hielo) was a series of the international ice hockey tournament in the continents of North and South America. The full members of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) are Canada, Mexico and the United States, which participate in the IIHF World Championship. The associate members are Argentina and Brazil, which participate in the IIHF Inline Hockey World Championship. Jamaica is also an IIHF member, but it have not been quoted as potential participants.
