Marc Jameson is an American software developer and former record producer, audio engineer, programmer, writer, and remixer. He began his career as an artist, in bands such as Kikiwest and The Distnce. Prior to his production work, he was the lead singer and keyboardist of the industrial rock band Diatribe. ''Cult of Static'' is the sixth studio album by industrial metal band Static-X. It was released on March 17, 2009 via Reprise Records. The album's first single "Stingwray" was released and made available on the band's MySpace page on February 17, 2009. The album's title is a reference to the die-hard fans who have supported the band for so long. This would be Static-X's last studio album for eleven years, as well as the last to feature drummer Nick Oshiro and founding member and vocalist Wayne Static during his lifetime, though the latter's posthumously released work was included on the band's 2020 album '' Project: Regeneration Vol. 1''. Static-X is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1994. The line-up has fluctuated over the years, but was long-held constant with band founder, frontman, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Wayne Static until his death in 2014. The band was founded by Wayne Static and original drummer Ken Jay. They rose to fame with their 1999 debut album '' Wisconsin Death Trip'' where their heavy industrial metal sound attracted attention within the burgeoning nu metal movement of the late 1990s, with the album eventually going platinum in the United States. Matt and Kim (sometimes stylized MATT and KIM) are an American indie electronic duo from Brooklyn, New York City. The group formed in 2004 and consist of Matt Johnson (vocals/keyboards) and Kim Schifino (drums). The duo is known for its upbeat dance music and energetic live shows which often incorporate samples from other artists. Diatribe was an industrial rock group from San Jose, California active in the 1990s. They had a sound similar to 16 Volt and Chemlab, integrating synthesizers and vocal samples with more traditional rock instruments. The band's full-length debut ''Diatribe'' was released by Cargo Music and Re-Constriction Records on November 3, 1996. History Diatribe was formed in San Jose, California, by vocalist/keyboardist Marc Jameson, bassist Kevin Marburg and guitarists Vince Montalbano and Pat Toves.
