Marc Hendrikx
Marc Hendrikx (; born 2 July 1974 in Hamont, Belgium) is a former professional football (soccer) midfielder. He started his career with KFC Lommelse SK, then moved on to Racing Genk and, in 2001 he got the opportunity to play in the top flight and the Champions League after moving to Anderlecht. In 2004, he spent a single season with Lokeren, before moving to Germinal Beerschot and then Sint-Truiden, where he played until 2009. Hendrikx last played for Eupen. Hamont
Hamont-Achel (; li, Haëmet-Achel) is a city and municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. It was founded in 1977 by a fusion of the city Hamont and the village Achel. On January 1, 2020, Hamont-Achel had a total population of 14.294. The total area is 43.66 km² which gives a population density of 315 inhabitants per km². The municipality houses the Trappist Abbey of Achel, part of which is Brouwerij de Achelse Kluis, one of the 11 Trappist breweries. The professional tennis player Elise Mertens (WTA 35 - 2017) lives in Hamont-Achel. The Belgian Super Cup ( nl, Belgische Supercup, ; french: Supercoupe de Belgique; german: Belgischer Fußball-Super Cup), ''Pro League Supercup'', is a Belgian club competition played as a single match between the Belgian First Division A champions (also received the Super Cup host) and the Belgian Cup winners. If both teams are the same, the Belgian Cup runners-up participates as the second club. Koninklijke Beerschot Voetbalclub Antwerpen, or simply Beerschot, is a Belgian professional football club located in Antwerp, that competes in the second-tier First Division B after relegating from the top tier in the 2021–22 season.
