Marblehead Public Schools is an educational district located in Marblehead, Massachusetts. The district provides educational opportunities and facilities for students from kindergarten through high school. Marblehead is a coastal New England town in Essex County, Massachusetts, along the North Shore (Massachusetts), North Shore. Its population was 20,441 at the 2020 United States Census, 2020 census. The town lies on a small peninsula that extends into the northern part of Massachusetts Bay. Attached to the town is a near island, known as Marblehead Neck, connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. Marblehead Harbor, protected by shallow shoals and rocks from the open sea, lies between the mainland and the Neck. Glover School
Glover School is a public elementary school on Maple Street in Marblehead, Massachusetts, US. It educates around 250 students in grades K-3. The school consists of two buildings situated on a hilly site. History The school was designed by architect Walter S. Brodie. It consists of two buildings. The 'lower building' was built in 1916 and the 'upper building' in 1948. In May 1999 the community debated the cost of repairs to Glover School. In mid-2012 both buildings were demolished so that a new Glover School could be built in their place. School officials said the original buildings were antiquated and hard to maintain. The new building will have modern utilities and will add a kindergarten, increasing total enrollment to 425 students. Keith Russell Ablow (born November 23, 1961) is an American author, television personality, and psychiatrist. He is a former contributor for Fox News Channel and TheBlaze. Formerly an assistant clinical professor at Tufts University School of Medicine, Ablow resigned as a member of the American Psychiatric Association in 2011, in protest to the APA's tacit support of transgender surgeries, which he considered irresponsible. Ablow's medical license was suspended in May 2019 by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine.
