Manuel Silvela
Manuel Silvela y Le Vielleuze KStJ (9 March 1830, in Paris, Kingdom of France – 25 May 1892, in Madrid, Kingdom of Spain) was a Spanish politician, lawyer, writer and journalist who held several importante governmental offices, such as Minister of State and Councillor of State. Silvela was son of the prominent lawyer Francisco Agustín Silvela y Blanco and wife Luisa de le Vielleuze y Sotés, and brother of the also politician Francisco Silvela. The Most Excellent
The Most Excellent (Spanish language, Spanish: ''Excelentísimo Señor'' (male) or ''Excelentísima Señora'' (female), literally "Most Excellent Sir/Madam") is an honorific prefix that is traditionally applied to certain people in Spain and certain Spanish-speaking countries. Following Spanish tradition, it is an ''ex officio'' style (the holder has it as long as they remain in office, in the most important positions of state) and is used in written documents and very formal occasions. The prefix is similar (but not equal) to that of "Excellency, His/Her Excellency", but in the 19th century "The Most Excellent" began to replace the former. The Imperial Order of the Rose ( pt, Imperial Ordem da Rosa) was a Brazilian order of chivalry, instituted by Emperor Pedro I of Brazil on 17 October 1829 to commemorate his marriage to Amélie of Leuchtenberg. On 22 March 1890, the order was cancelled as national order by the interim government of First Brazilian Republic. Since the deposition in 1889 of the last Brazilian monarch, Emperor Pedro II, the order continues as a house order being awarded by the Heads of the House of Orleans-Braganza, pretenders to the defunct throne of Brazil. Cristino Martos y Balbí (13 September 1830, in Granada, Spain – 17 January 1893, in Madrid, Spain) was a Spanish politician and lawyer who served as Minister of State from 1869 to 1870, in a cabinet headed by Juan Prim, 1st Marquis of los Castillejos, and held other important offices such as Mayor of Madrid. Don Juan Álvarez de Lorenzana y Guerrero, 10th Viscount of Barrantes (29 August 1818, in Oviedo, Principality of Asturias, Spain – 15 July 1883, in Madrid, Spain) was a Spanish noble, politician and journalist who served as Minister of State from 1868 to 1869, in a cabinet headed by Francisco Serrano, 1st Duke of la Torre. Order Of Burma
The Order of Burma was founded by Royal Warrant on 10 May 1940, and conferred in a single class. It was awarded by the Governor of British Burma for long, faithful and honourable service by Governor's Commissioned (i.e. native Burmese) Officers in the Burma Army, the Burma Frontier Force and the Burma Military Police. In September 1945 the royal warrant was amended to permit awards of the order for gallantry. Order of Burma Royal Warrant amendment dated 11 September 1945.
