Manuel Cros
Manuel Cros Grau (1 September 1901 - 1 February 1986) was a Spanish footballer who played as a center-forward for CE Europa and Espanyol. In the 1920s, he was one of the great idols of Catalan football, alongside the likes of Zamora and Samitier. His haircut (brush style) was known in the barbershops of the time as "cutting the hair like Cros’s". Club career Born in Calanda, he moved to Catalonia from an early age and always considered himself Catalan. After playing for FC Internacional, CE Júpiter and later for FC Martinenc, he was signed by CE Europa in 1922. Together with Mauricio, Pellicer and Alcázar, he was part of the great attacking front of the CE Europa side that won the Catalan Championship in 1923 after beating Barcelona 1-0 in a play-off title-decider. Calanda, Spain
Calanda is a town in the province of Teruel, Aragon, Spain. It lies on the southern fringe of the Ebro river basin, at the confluence of the Rivers Guadalope and Guadalopillo. The climate is transitional between Mediterranean and Continental. 1929 La Liga
The 1929 Primera División season was the inaugural season of the Primera Division. It started on 10 February 1929 and finished on 23 June 1929. A total of 10 teams participated in the league. After the failure to create a national league in 1928, that ended with the teams split into two unconcluded leagues, an agreement with the Royal Spanish Football Federation was finally reached for the creation of a national league. Travieso (footballer)
Manuel López Llamosas (1 May 1900 – 14 October 1975), known as Travieso, was a Spanish footballer who represented multiple teams in Spain. He was capped once by the Spain national football team in 1922, scoring twice. Club career Travieso started his career in the academies of Real Zaragoza and CE Sabadell, before going on to play regional football. Travieso's career highlight was his three-year spell at Athletic Bilbao (1921 to 1924), scoring 24 goals in just 22 appearances for the club, including the only goal of the 1923 Copa del Rey Final against Europa.
