''Mansacue'' is a 2008 Chilean comedy film directed by Marco Enríquez-Ominami and written by Yusef Rumie. It has a choral cast headed by Cristián Riquelme, Dayana Amigo, Luis Dubó, Patricio Strahovsky, Carolina Oliva, Fernando Gómez Rovira, Claudia Pérez and Mauricio Pesutic. It is based on the television series ''La vida es una lotería'' by TVN. It premiered on April 24, 2008, in Chilean theaters. Synopsis In the first story, an upper-class couple loses a winning Kino ticket and must track it down to the wallet of a drunk from the fringes. In the second, a geologist and his girlfriend must keep their fortune a secret to avoid the wrath of the inhabitants of a town where everything is shared. Alejandro Trejo
Alejandro Edmundo Trejo Zapata (born 8 August 1959) is a Chilean theater, television, and voice actor. He is best known for 2001's '' A Cab for Three'', for which he received Best Actor awards at the Cinemanila and Gramado film festivals. Biography Alejandro Trejo, a well-known Chilean actor, came to show business almost by chance, because the theater was his second choice. In 1979 he entered the Moneda Theater School directed by Pury Durante. In 1986 he founded, along with Juan Edmundo González, the street theater company El Clavo. As an actor he has participated in numerous plays, among which are ''Lautaro'', by Isidora Aguirre, ''Historia de un galpón abandonado'' by Ramón Griffero, ''Tríptico'', and ''El Señor Presidente'', these last two with El Clavo. Marco Enríquez-Ominami
Marco Antonio Enríquez-Ominami Gumucio (born 12 June 1973) is a Chilean- French, filmmaker, politician, and perennial candidate. From 2006 to 2010 he was a Socialist Party deputy in Chile's lower chamber. In 2009 he quit the party and ran for President of the Republic as independent, where he finished third with 20% of the vote. He is currently the leader of the Progressive Party, which he founded in 2010. Enríquez-Ominami is the son of Revolutionary Left Movement's historical leader Miguel Enríquez and sociologist Manuela Gumucio. His adoptive father is former senator Carlos Ominami. Enríquez-Ominami is married to the Chilean TV hostess Karen Doggenweiler, and has two children. Because of his long name he is frequently called MEO or ME-O both in writing and in speech. Cariquima
Cariquima is a highland town in Chile. The town is a few kilometers south of Colchane, in the Tarapacá Region of Chile. It can be found on the slopes of Nevado Cariquima or Mama Huanapa. It is a central meeting point for Aymara indigenous communities. The town has a clinic, a school, electricity (during the afternoons) and an airport which was built by the Chilean Air Force in 2003. The church in Cariquima is the oldest architectural building in the town since 2006 which also serves as a historical monument. Cariquima also has a nearby river.
