''Manimuzhakkam'' () is a 1976 Malayalam-language film directed by P. A. Backer and starring Harikeshan Thampi, Veeran, Johnson, Sankaradi, Saritha, Urmila, Vani, cyril P Jacob, Charulatha, Santhakumari, Sreenivasan and Meena Ganesh. This is the debut film of Sreenivasan. Sarah Thomas (writer)
Sarah Thomas (born 15 September 1934) is a Malayalam language writer from Kerala, India. Her novel ''Narmadi Pudava'' won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in the year 1979. Thomas is also a recipient of Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Overall Contribution to Malayalam Literature. Career Thomas had started writing long before the concept of feminine literature evolved in Malayalam. She published her first novel ''Jivitamenna Nadi'' at the age of 34. She became noted in the literary field after the publication of the novel ''Murippadukal'' in 1971. The novel narrated the life of a young man brought up in a Roman Catholic orphanage and later transferred to his Hindu ancestral home, where he is subtly persuaded to conform to Hindu religious beliefs. The National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam is one of the National Film Awards presented annually by the Directorate of Film Festivals, the organisation set up by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, India. Harikeshan Thampi
Harikeshan Thampi, stage name Hari, is an Indian actor and dubbing artist best known for his work in Malayalam cinema. He has acted in more than 50 films and dubbed for almost 1,000 films. Thampi made his debut in the Malayalam film ''Raja Harishchandra'' as Lohithakshan, son of Raja Harishchandra. Later he switched roles to be a dubbing artist. He lent his voice for Chiranjeevi in 60 films and all of them were super hits. Nagarjjuna, Krishna, and Mohan Babu were identified with his voice in Telugu. Vipindas
Vipindas (1938 – 12 February 2011) was an Indian cinematographer and director. He has cinematographed more than 200 films in Malayalam alone, and has directed a couple of films. Biography Vipindas was born in 1938 in Pazhayannur, Thrissur, Kerala, as the son of Pallippatta Sankaran Nair and Lakshmi Amma. At the age of 15, he went to Madras (now Chennai) to study photography. He had no formal education in photography but was able to assist veteran Bollywood cinematographer Beevashom for three years. Vipindas started his film career with the Tamil film ''Thalattu'', which he also directed. He debuted in Malayalam through ''Prethangalude Thazhvara'' by P.Venu. Sankaradi
Chandrashekaran Menon, better known by his screen name Sankaradi (14 July 1924 – 8 October 2001), was an Indian actor. He was a veteran Malayalam comedian and character artist, who had over 700 Malayalam films to his credit. He dominated the Malayalam film scene in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s as a comedian along with Adoor Bhasi and Bahadoor. Later, he switched to character roles. Early life Sankaradi passed intermediate from Maharajas College, Ernakulam. Before entering films, Sankaradi briefly dabbled in politics, journalism and theatre. He had earlier joined the Indian National Congress, but later became a cardholder of the undivided Communist Party of India (CPI).
