Manfred Bilderl (born 24 September 1967) is a German professional darts player currently playing in Professional Darts Corporation events. He qualified for the 2017 European Darts Trophy, where he lost 6–1 to Jonny Clayton. The following year he qualified for the 2018 German Darts Masters in the 2018 World Series of Darts, where he lost 6–0 to Raymond van Barneveld in the first round. 2018 German Darts Masters
The 2018 German Darts Masters was the second staging of the tournament by the Professional Darts Corporation, and was the first entry in the 2018 World Series of Darts. The tournament featured 16 players (eight PDC players facing eight regional qualifiers) and was held at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on 25 May 2018. Peter Wright was the defending champion after defeating Phil Taylor 11–4 in the final of the 2017 event, but he lost 8–2 in the semi-finals to Mensur Suljović. Suljović won his first World Series title by defeating Dimitri Van den Bergh 8–2 in the final. The event also broke the attendance record for a darts tournament with 20,210 people attending the event, beating the previous record set 70 years earlier. 2024 World Seniors Darts Championship
The 2024 World Seniors Darts Championship was the third World Seniors Darts Championship organized by the World Seniors Darts Tour. The event took place at the Circus Tavern in Purfleet from 15 to 18 February 2024. The event was open to players over the age of 50, with the exception of current PDC Tour Card holders. John Henderson won the title on his debut defeating Colin McGarry 5-0. Prize money The prize fund for the event was £80,000, with £30,000 going to the champion. Phil Taylor (darts Player)
Philip Douglas Taylor (born 13 August 1960) is an English former professional darts player, widely considered the greatest darts player of all time. Nicknamed The Power, he dominated darts for over two decades and won 214 professional tournaments, including a record 85 major titles and a record 16 World Championships. In 2015, the BBC rated Taylor among the ten greatest British sportsmen of the last 35 years. Taylor won eight consecutive World Championships from 1995 to 2002, reached 14 consecutive finals from 1994 to 2007 and reached 21 world finals overall, all of which are records. The 2019 International Darts Open was the twelfth of thirteen PDC European Tour events on the 2019 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at the SACHSENarena, Riesa, Germany, from 13–15 September 2019. It featured a field of 48 players and £140,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner. Gerwyn Price was the defending champion after defeating Simon Whitlock 8–3 in the previous year's final, and he successfully defended his title, by defeating Rob Cross 8–6 in the final. Raymond van Barneveld (born 20 April 1967) is a Dutch professional darts player. Nicknamed Barney, although originally known as The Man, he is one of the most successful darts players in history. Jonny Clayton
Jonny Clayton (born 4 October 1974) is a Welsh professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Nicknamed The Ferret, he was half of the Welsh team that won the 2020 PDC World Cup of Darts before winning his first televised singles title, the 2021 Masters, which would lead him to qualifying for the 2021 Premier League Darts, which he would go on to win as well. He subsequently won his first ranked televised title at the 2021 World Grand Prix.
