Kurt Gloor (8 November 1942 – 20 September 1997) was a Swiss film director, screenwriter and producer. He directed eleven films between 1967 and 1992. His 1976 film '' The Sudden Loneliness of Konrad Steiner'' was entered into the 26th Berlin International Film Festival. Five years later, his 1981 film ''The Inventor'' was entered into the 31st Berlin International Film Festival. In 1984, his film ''Man Without Memory'' was entered into the 34th Berlin International Film Festival. He committed suicide shortly after completing his final film. Hannelore Elsner
Hannelore Elsner (; born Hannelore Elstner; 26 July 1942 – 21 April 2019) was a German actress with a long career in television and film. She first performed on stage in Munich, and later starred in popular films and television series such as ''Die Schwarzwaldklinik'' (''The Black Forest Clinic''), and as the lead character, Inspector Lea Sommer, in the series ''Die Kommissarin''. She was recognized internationally for her lead role in the 2000 film ''Die Unberührbare'' ('' No Place to Go''), shown at the Cannes Film Festival. Career She was born Hannelore Elstner in Burghausen on 26 July 1942. Her five-year-old brother was killed in an air raid at the end of the Second World War. The 34th annual Berlin International Film Festival was held from 17–28 February 1984. The festival opened with ''The Noah's Ark Principle'' by Roland Emmerich. The Golden Bear was awarded to the American film '' Love Streams'' directed by John Cassavetes. Lisi Mangold (24 April 1950 – 4 January 1986) was a Swiss actress. Life She trained at the Schauspielschule Zürich and got her first engagement at the Schillertheater in Berlin. There she played in ''Wildwechsel'' by Franz Xaver Kroetz. From 1974 until her death she belonged to the ensemble of the Munich Kammerspiele, where Ernst Wendt made her the leading actress of his productions. Esther is the eponymous heroine of the Book of Esther. In the Achaemenid Empire, the Persian king Ahasuerus seeks a new wife after his queen, Vashti, is deposed for disobeying him. Hadassah, a Jewess who goes by the name of Esther, is chosen to fulfill this role due to her beauty. Ahasuerus' grand vizier, Haman, is offended by Esther's cousin and guardian, Mordecai, due to his refusal to prostrate himself before Haman. Consequently, Haman plots to have all the Jewish subjects of Persia killed, and convinces Ahasuerus to permit him to do so. Rüdiger Vogler (born 14 May 1942 in Warthausen, near Biberach an der Riß) is a German film and stage actor. Biography Rüdiger Vogler attended acting school in Heidelberg from 1963 to 1965. Later he played for six years at "''Theater am Turm''" in Frankfurt am Main, often in the plays by Peter Handke. His film debut was in 1971 in a TV film ''"Chronik der laufenden Ereignisse" ("Chronicle of Current Events")'' by Peter Handke.
