Mamdouh Abbas (born 1946) is an Egyptian businessman. He was appointed the Zamalek chairman twice. His first appointment stretched from 2006 to 2008. He returned to the position for the second time when he was elected president of the club in May 2009. He resigned from Zamalek in early November over a contract dispute. Biography Bahri grew up in Tunisia and at the age of 25 came to Montpellier, France, where he later taught music at Jazz Action Montpellier (JAM) until 1991. From 1989 to 1993, he played in a quartet with pianist Horace Parlan, Italian bassist Riccardo Del Fra and New Orleans drummer Idris Muhammad. In 1991, they recorded the CD "From Tunisia with Love" live in Carthage. That year, Bahri moved to New York City, where he joined the collective Spirit of Life Ensemble with saxophonist T.K. Mamdouh Habib (born 3 June 1955) is an Egyptian and Australian citizen with dual nationality, best known for having been held for more than three years by the United States as an enemy combatant, by both the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and military authorities. He was sent by extraordinary rendition from Pakistan to Egypt after his arrest. He was held the longest at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp as an enemy combatant. Finally released without charges in January 2005, Habib struggled to have his account of his experiences believed, as he alleged he had been tortured by the CIA, Egyptians, and US military, at times with Australian intelligence officers present. Mamdouh Marei
Mamdouh Marei (1938–2018) was an Egyptian jurist who served as the minister of justice in the period 2006–2011 just before the Arab Spring. He also served in various senior judicial positions. Biography Marei was born in 1938. He worked as the president of the Appeals Court from 2001 to 2003 and then, as the head of Supreme Constitutional Court between 2003 and 2006. In August 2006 he was appointed justice minister, replacing Mahmoud Abul Leil in the post. Marei was appointed by President Hosni Mubarak to the post to expel those judges who protested the Mubarak's intervention in the legal issues and the results of the presidential election in 2005. Mamdouh Muhammad Salem ( ar, ممدوح سالم, ; May 7, 1918 – February 24, 1988) was the 39th Prime Minister of Egypt from April 16, 1975 to October 2, 1978. Biography Salem was born in Alexandria, Egypt. Mamdouh bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (born 1940) is a businessman, the former governor of the Tabuk Province and a member of the Saudi royal family. Early life Prince Mamdouh was born in 1940. His parents are King Abdulaziz and Nouf bint Nawaf bin Nuri Al Shaalan. They married in November 1935. Nouf was a member of the Ruwala tribe based in northwestern Arabia, Transjordan and Syria. Alia Mamdouh (also spelled Aliyah Mamduh) (born 1944) is an Iraqi novelist, author, and journalist living in exile in Paris, France. She won the 2004 Naguib Mahfouz Medal for Literature for her novel ''The Loved Ones''. She is most known for her widely acclaimed and translated book ''Naphtalene'', originally written in Arabic. Her 2020 novel ''The Tank'' was shortlisted for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction. Mamdouh was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1944.
