Mama Lover
''Mama Lover'' is the second studio album by Russian recording trio Serebro. It was released in Italy on CD and digital on June 19, 2012 (one week earlier than scheduled worldwide release) by Sony Music Entertainment. Then in Mexico on July 12, 2012 by Universal Music. It was produced by their previous manager Maxim Fadeev and some songs were produced by Serebro themselves. The album was released worldwide on June 26, 2012. It is noted that the studio album is mostly comprised by English language tracks, although the song " Мама Люба" is featured as a Russian track. The group's only featured single "Mama Lover" was released by Universal Music and Ego Records, which achieved moderate success in Europe. Serebro
Serebro ( rus, Серебро, t=Silver, p=sʲɪrʲɪˈbro, a=ru-серебро.ogg; stylized as SEREBRO) was a Russian girl group formed by their manager and producer Maxim Fadeev. Serebro was formed in 2007, consisting of Marina Lizorkina, Olga Seryabkina, and Elena Temnikova as a submitted proposal for consideration by Channel One Russia for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. Serebro was selected to represent Russia at the 2007 Contest with the song titled " Song #1". They subsequently placed third at the contest, scoring a total of 207 points. Serebro was then officially signed to Fadeev's record label Monolit Records, and in 2012, the group had additional releases produced by Sony Music Entertainment and Ego Music. Marina Sergeevna Lizorkina (russian: link=no, Марина Серге́евна Лизоркина; born 9 June 1983) is a Russian singer and former member of girl group Serebro which she left in 2009. Biography Early career At the age of 16, she entered the Contemporary Art University in Moscow. She plays the piano, the guitar and the xylophone. "Давай держаться за руки" (''Davay derzhat'sya za ruki''; English: ''Let's Hold Hands'') is the seventh single performed by Russian girl group Serebro and written by Maxim Fadeev. The song is included on the group's second album (Mama Lover). Background Maxim Fadeev, Serebro's manager, composed the song and co-wrote it with band member Olga Seryabkina. The demo version was released on November 4, 2010 through YouTube. Unlike previous Russian songs released by Serebro, an English version was not made available until the release of their second album where 'Angel Kiss' was released. Music video The music video for "''Давай держаться за руки''" was directed by Yuri Kurokhtin.
