Malaysian Paralympic Council
Paralympic Council of Malaysia, ( ms, Majlis Paralimpik Malaysia, PCM or MPM) is the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Malaysia. The council was established on 18 May 1989 as the Malaysian Disabled Sports Council ''(Majlis Sukan Orang Cacat Malaysia)''. In 1996, it was renamed as Malaysian Paralympic Council and later as Paralympic Council of Malaysia. The Paralympic Council of Malaysia is currently headquartered at the Malaysia Paralympic Sports Excellence Centre ( ms, Pusat Kecemerlangan Sukan Paralimpik Malaysia, MPSEC or PKSPM). Kampung Pandan
Kampung Pandan is a village/settlement located in the Titiwangsa constituency in eastern Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, surrounded by Ampang, Maluri, Pudu and Bukit Bintang. Once a small settlement, Kampung Pandan has now grown and developed tremendously. It used to be an area of well planned settlement (with title deed) under Rural Industrial Development Authority (RIDA) to accommodate/ relocate people who were moved from their areas of settlement for development purposes (among the areas were Maxwell Village) in the late 1960s. Kampung Pandan was developed into two sections of the settlement namely Kampong Pandan Dalam (settlement) and Kampong Pandan Luar (commercial area or locally known as the town area). Along with the development of Kuala Lumpur, the area prospered. The settlement however seen squatter areas, inhabited by people from other Malaysian states who were looking for job opportunities in the city back in the early 1970s. National Paralympic Committee
A National Paralympic Committee (NPC) is a national constituent of the worldwide Paralympic movement. Subject to the controls of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), NPCs are responsible for organizing their people's participation in the Paralympic Games. The Paralympic Games are a major international multi-sport event where athletes with physical disabilities compete; this includes athletes with mobility disabilities, amputations, blindness, and cerebral palsy. There are Winter and Summer Paralympic Games, which are held immediately following their respective Olympic Games, in the same host city. Fauzi Abdul Rahman
Fauzi bin Abdul Rahman ( Jawi: فوزي بن عبدالرحمن) (Born 27 August 1946) is a Malaysian politician. He is a former Deputy Minister (1995-1999) and former Pahang state chief of the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. Fauzi was the former Member of Parliament for (2013-2018) and (1990-1999). He is also a former Pahang State Assemblyman for Beserah (1999-2004). Formerly, he was a member of United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) of Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition before he quits on 23 July 2008 to join PKR. SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin (born 9 September 1983) is a Malaysian entrepreneur and businessman. He holds the position of co-chairman of the Naza Group and also the former President of the Paralympic Council of Malaysia. Career After graduating in business economics from University of Southern California in the United States, he joined Naza Kia Sdn Bhd as a management trainee in 2005. In 2006, he was appointed head of operations of Naza Corporation Sdn Bhd and took over as CEO of three Naza companies that year – Nasim Sdn Bhd (Peugeot franchise), Naza Corporation Sdn Bhd, and NZ Diners Sdn Bhd (food business, Bubba Gump Shrimp).
