Malakpet
Malakpet is one of the suburbs in the old city area of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is famous for TV tower which was built by Teegala Sree Ramulu. This is further divided into two parts, Old Malakpet and New Malakpet and is traditionally considered part of old city. This circle (6) comes under Charminar Zone of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. There are seven wards in this circle namely Saidabad (24), Moosarambagh, Moosrambagh (25), Old Malakpet (26), Akberbagh (27), Azampura (28), Chawani (29) and Dabirpura, Dabeerpura (30). Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala
Ahmed Balala bin Abdullah Balala is an Indian politician from the city of Hyderabad. He represents the Malakpet constituency in the Telangana Legislative Assembly on an All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen seat. He first won the seat in 2009 and retained it in the 2014 polls. Career Balala won from the Malakpet constituency in 2009 by defeating Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan of Telugu Desam Party on an All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen ticket. Previously his party unsuccessfully contested the seat in 1989 and 1994. In December 2011, when officials of the Archaeological Survey of India tried to demolish the shops and encroachments around the Badshahi Ashurkhana, Balala and Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri, and other supporters of AIMIM MLA, prevented them from doing so, leading to tensions in the city. Azampura
Azampura, on banks of River Moosi, is one of the old suburbs in Hyderabad, India and is close to Dabirpura. Other nearby areas include Saidabad, Chaderghat, Malakpet and Chanchalguda. There were 27,500 residents in Azampura as of 2003. Like many other Old City suburbs it has a majority Muslim population. Also the area is home to the deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Mohammed Mehmood Ali. Commercial area Azampura's commercial area is concentrated around Masjid-e-Sahifa. Hyderabad Race Club
The Hyderabad Race Club is a Thoroughbred Racing Association and the race track is at Malakpet, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This race course is considered one of the top racecourses in India and was inaugurated by the 6th Nizam Mahbub Ali Khan. History Horse racing in Hyderabad was started by the Mahbub Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VI, Nizam Asaf Jah VI in 1868 at Moula-Ali. In those days the races were called Deccan races and later the Hyderabad races. In 1886 the racing shifted to Malakpet by H.H Nawab Mir Mahboob Ali Khan, Nizam VI as he wanted the race course to be near his palace. The Old City of Hyderabad is a walled city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India, located on the banks of the Musi River built by Qutb Shahi sultan Muhammed Quli Qutb Shah in 1591 AD. There used to be Wall of Hyderabad, a wall surrounding the Old City, most of which is destroyed. Saidabad
Saidabad is a mandal in Hyderabad District in Telangana, India. Transport Saidabad is well-connected by TSRTC buses, which ply on two routes covering most of the area, and all the buses stop here. Saidabad is named after Syed Mir Mommin, the Prime Minister of Golconda, in 1591. Some nawabs had big mansions here. Moosarambagh
Moosrambagh also Moosa Ram Bagh is an old suburb of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is named after the French military commander Monsieur Raymond who served the Nizams during the 18th century. His tomb Raymond's Tomb is located near Asman Garh Palace. The locality of "Moosa-Ram-Bagh" is named after him. Wherein, Bagh refers to "a Garden" as the area was once covered by huge greenery.
