Mecca (; officially Makkah al-Mukarramah, commonly shortened to Makkah ()) is a city and administrative center of the Mecca Province of Saudi Arabia, and the Holiest sites in Islam, holiest city in Islam. Lt. Colonel Fidelis Makka (born 20 December 1950) was Military Governor of Benue State, Nigeria from 21 July 1988 to 2 January 1992 during the military regime of General Ibrahim Babangida. Background Fidelis Makka was born on 20 December 1950 in Gawu, Suleja Local Government of Niger State. On 4 January 1971 he enlisted as a reader officer at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Jaji and on 23 June 1973 he was granted regular combatant commission. He served in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon from May to November, 1976. He attended the Senior Staff Course at the Nigerian Defense Academy from September, 1981 to June, 1982. Other posts were Commander 142 Infantry Battalion, Nigerian Army in 1978 and Staff Officer at the Military Secretary's Office, Army Headquarters. Ioulia Makka ( gr, Ιουλία Μάκκα; born 10 December 1983) is a Greek chess player who holds the FIDE title of Woman International Master (WIM, 2002). She is a Greek Women's Chess Championship winner (2018). Biography Ioulia Makka twice in row won the Greek Junior Chess Championship in the U20 Girls Age Group (2002, 2003). In 2003, in Nakhchivan she won silver medal in World Girls U-20 Championship. She won four bronze medals in Greek Women's Chess Championships (2001, 2004, 2005, 2017), but in 2018 she won Greek Women's Chess Championship. Makka Kleist (born 1951) is a Greenlandic actress. After training to be a schoolteacher, she was inspired to become an actress and received training at the Tuukkaq Teater in western Jutland. As she was unable to find work in Denmark, she moved to Canada where she appeared in the TV series ''Daughter of the Country'' (1986). Back in Greenland, she met the theatre director Svenn Syrin who persuaded her to move to Tromsø in Norway where she appeared mainly at the youth theatre. In 2004, the couple moved to Greenland where Kleist became the leader of the amateur drama group Silamiut. From 2007 to 2016, she ran the newly established Greenlandic Drama School. In 2011, Kleist was awarded the Sermitsiaq Culture Prize.
