Maja Railway Station
Maja Station (MJ) is a class II railway station located in Maja, Maja, Lebak Regency. This station is included in the Operation Area I Jakarta. Initially, The station is the terminus of electrified tracks system from Tanah Abang Station to Maja Station. Since 17 April 2013, has been serving the KRL Commuterline to the Tanah Abang Station and has been crossed by a double tracks. Before KCJ (now KCI) extended its route to , the station only served crosses for some time. In order to improve the commuter train services in the Lebak Regency, PT KAI Commuter Jabodetabek (now PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia) then extended the KRL Commuterline route to Rangkasbitung Station. The KRL is run as of 1 April 2017. Lebak Regency
Lebak Regency is a regency of Banten province, Indonesia. It is located on the island of Java. The regency has an area of 3,305.072 km2 and had a population of 1,204,095 at the 2010 census and 1,386,793 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2021 was 1,407,857. The town of Rangkasbitung in the north of the regency is the administrative centre. KAI Commuter Rangkasbitung Line
The KA Commuter line Tanah Abang–Rangkasbitung or the Rangkasbitung line is a commuter rail line in Indonesia, operated by PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI). The line connects Tanah Abang station in Central Jakarta and Rangkasbitung station in Lebak Regency, Banten. On maps and diagrams, the line is shown using the color "green" (). Tanah Abang–Rangkasbitung line is the longest and fourth busiest line in the KA commuter system. Jakarta Kota–Anyer Kidul Railway
The railway between Jakarta and Anyer Kidul is a railway connecting several places in the province of Banten to Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. It was constructed between 1899 and 1900 in the Dutch colonial age, during which it was also known as the Banten railway (). History The public railway company Staatsspoorwegen built the line in 1899 and 1900 as part of the Western railways () in order to improve connectivity with the western regions on Java. On 2 January 1899, the first part was opened between Batavia Zuid ( Jakarta Kota) and Tangerang. Until 12 September 1923, this line started from Batavia Zuid, headed west across the street via Pasar Pagi (current day Petongkangan street), turned south to Angke after which the railway followed the current route via Duri. A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. Island Platform
An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons. They are also useful within larger stations where local and express services for the same direction of travel can be provided from opposite sides of the same platform thereby simplifying transfers between the two tracks. Tanah Abang Railway Station
Tanah Abang Station (THB) is a railway station located in Kampung Bali, Tanah Abang. This station located to the east of West Flood Canal. The station and the canal are only separated by a small, narrow embankment and as such, Tanah Abang station is prone to flooding, especially during the heavy rain season. Tanah Abang station serves as the terminus for KA Commuter line Tanah Abang–Rangkasbitung. It used to serve some intercity services, but after the opening of Rangkasbitung, all local train services towards Merak use Rangkasbitung station as their terminus, therefore local train services do not stop in Tanah Abang station anymore. This station, alongside Duri railway station, serves as transfer stations for the only train services towards South Tangerang and Tangerang respectively.
