''Main Julian England'' is a 2007 Pothwari comedy telefilm. ''Main Julian England'' (which means "I'm going to England") is a sequel to the successful '' Miki Kharo England'' which was the first ever Pothwari comedy telefilm. Iftikar Thakur (Urdu, pa, افتخار ٹھاکر), born Iftikhar Ahmed is a Pakistani actor and stand up comedian. He rose to fame for his roles in Punjabi drama. He has starred in numerous stage shows and telefilms in different languages mainly Punjabi also including Pothwari/Mirpuri and Urdu. The Pothohar Plateau ( ur, ) is a plateau in north-eastern Pakistan, located between Indus River and the Jhelum River, forming the northern part of Punjab. Geography Potohar Plateau is bounded on the east by the Jhelum River, on the west by the Indus River, on the north by the Kala Chitta Range and the Margalla Hills, and on the south by the Salt Range. The southern end of the plateau is bounded by the Thal desert. The 5000 square miles of the plateau range from an average height of 1200 to 1900 feet above the sea level. Pahari-Pothwari
The Indo-Aryan language spoken on the Pothohar Plateau in the far north of Punjab, Pakistan, Pakistani Punjab, as well as in most of Pakistan's Azad Kashmir and in western areas of India's Jammu and Kashmir (union territory), Jammu and Kashmir, is known by a variety of names, the most common of which are Pahari (; Pahari language, an ambiguous name also applied to unrelated languages of India), and Pothwari (or Pothohari). The language is transitional between Hindko language, Hindko and Standard Punjabi language, Punjabi. There have been efforts at cultivation as a literary language, although a local standard has not been established yet.
