Mahée Paiement (born January 2, 1976 in Saint-Eustache, Quebec) is a Quebec movie and television actress and known for playing several roles in popular Quebec movies and films since 1986. Background After a television role in 1982, Paiement started to perform movie roles in 1986 at the age of 10 when she appeared in ''Bach et Bottine''. Saint-Eustache, Quebec
Saint-Eustache () is an off-island suburb of Montreal, in western Quebec, Canada, west of Montreal on the north shore of the Rivière des Mille Îles. It is located northwest of Montreal. History The city was founded in 1770 and was incorporated in 1835. It has a famous church, Saint-Eustache church, which was built between 1780 and 1783. A significant battle of the Lower Canada Rebellion was fought here on December 14, 1837. In the Battle of Saint-Eustache, the rebels were defeated, and the town was burnt. The church was fully rebuilt after the burning except for the front facade, where canon bullet holes can still be found. In 1979, General Motors opened a transit bus manufacturing facility in Saint-Eustache. The factory has produced vehicles under the brands of GM, MCI and, since 1993, has been owned by Nova Bus. Brain Freeze (film)
''Brain Freeze'' is a Canadian horror comedy film, directed by Julien Knafo and released in 2021. A satire of class warfare, the film is set in a gated community in Montreal where the neighbourhood golf course has sprayed its grounds with a new experimental fertilizer that automatically melts the snow in winter so that its rich patrons can play golf all year round, but which in turn has contaminated the local water supply and is turning the residents into zombies. ''Watatatow'' was a Canadian French-language children/youth television series, that aired from 1991 to 2005 on Radio-Canada. The first show aired on September 17, 1991. 104 half-hour episodes were filmed every year; they were shown four afternoons a week on Radio-Canada. ''Watatatow'' helped launch the careers of several young actors, including Hugo St-Cyr, Michel Goyette, Élise Aussant, Serge Postigo, Robert Brouillette, Suzanne Clément, Isabelle Guérard, Fabien Cloutier, Cas Anvar and Annie Cotton.
