Mahdzir bin Khalid ( Jawi: محاضر بن خالد; born 15 December 1960) is a Malaysian politician who served as the Minister of Rural Development in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from August 2021 to the collapse of BN administration in November 2022, Minister of Education and Deputy Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water in the BN administration under former Prime Minister Najib Razak and former Minister Maximus Ongkili from May 2013 to the collapse of the BN administration in May 2018. Malay Titles
The Malay language has a complex system of styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and several provinces in Indonesia regularly award honorary and life titles. What follows in this article is specific to the Malaysian system. References to Brunei and Indonesia are given when pertinent. In Malaysia, all non-hereditary titles can be granted to both men and women. Tan Sri Dato' Haji Mahiaddin bin Md Yasin (born 15 May 1947), commonly known as Muhyiddin bin Muhammad Yassin ( ms, محيي الدين بن محمد ياسين, label= Jawi, script=arab, italic=unset; ), is a Malaysian politician who served as the 8th Prime Minister of Malaysia from March 2020 to August 2021. Appointed as prime minister amid a political crisis, Muhyiddin served for 17 months and resigned after losing parliamentary support, making him the second shortest-serving prime minister in Malaysian history after Ismail Sabri Yaakob. Kedah State Executive Council
The Kedah State Executive Council is the executive branch of the State Government of Kedah, Malaysia. The Council is composed of the List of Menteris Besar of Kedah, Menteri Besar, the Leader of the council, appointed by the Sultan of Kedah, Sultan on the basis that he/she commands the majority support in the Kedah State Legislative Assembly, (half of the number of the members of the assembly). Azizan Abdul Razak
Azizan bin Abdul Razak (25 October 1944 – 26 September 2013) was a Malaysian politician who served as the 10th Menteri Besar (Chief Minister) of the state of Kedah from 2008 to 2013. A member of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), he was the first Chief Minister of Kedah from a party other than the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO). He held the seat of Sungai Limau in the Kedah state assembly from 2004 until his death in 2013. Syed Razak bin Syed Zain Barakhbah (22 August 1944–8 March 2023) is a Malaysian politician. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party in Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He was the Menteri Besar of Kedah from 11 December 1999 to 22 December 2005. Noriah Kasnon
Tan Sri Dato' Hajah Noriah binti Kasnon (2 January 1964 – 5 May 2016) was the Member of Parliament of Malaysia for the Sungai Besar constituency in Selangor, Malaysia. She was a member of the United Malay National Organisation (UMNO) party and was a Deputy Minister in the Barisan Nasional (BN) governments of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib Razak. James Dawos Mamit (4 November 1948 – 9 July 2019) was a Malaysian politician. He was the Member of Parliament of Malaysia for the Mambong constituency in Sarawak, representing the United Traditional Bumiputera Party (PBB). He was also the former Deputy Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water in the Barisan Nasional coalition government.
