Mahakavi Series
''Mahakavi'' is an Indian television documentary series, hosted by poet Kumar Vishwas on Hindi news channel ABP News. It premiered on 5 November 2016. Prior to the begin of the series, a curtain raiser of the series was aired on 28 October 2016. It aims to bring to the audience life-story, poems and never-seen-before facts about legendary Indian poets. The weekly programme chronicles the life sketch of ten Hindi poets of twentieth century. The TV series is hosted by the renowned poet Kumar Vishwas. The series is directed by Puneet Sharma and scripted by Prabudha Saurabh. The poems of the legendary poets have been treated with the music. While the composition of music has been done by Dr. Kumar Vishwas himself, the music has been arranged by his team Band Poetica. Raghu Ram Ambadapudi (born 15 April 1975) is an Indian television producer and actor. He was a senior supervising producer at MTV India and the creator of reality television shows ''MTV Roadies'', '' MTV Dropout Pvt Ltd'' and ''MTV Splitsvilla''. Manoj Shukla (born 27 February 1976), better known by his stage name Manoj Shukla ‛Muntashir’, is an Indian lyricist, poet and screenwriter. He wrote several successful Hindi songs for films. Rahat Indori, born as Rahat Qureshi, (1 January 1950 – 11 August 2020) was an Indian Bollywood lyricist and Urdu poet. He was also a former professor of Urdu language and a painter. Prior to this he was a pedagogist of Urdu literature at DAVV. Biography Indori was born on 1 January 1950, in Indore to Rafatullah Qureshi (a cloth mill worker), and his wife Maqbool Un Nisa Begum. Ricky Bhui (born 29 September 1996) is an Indian professional cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and occasional leg spinner.
