Maghfoor Mansoor
Maghfoor Mansoor (March 9, 1966 – May 11, 2001) was a U.S.-based Pakistani native who worked as a cab driver and tour guide. He was a fugitive in the United States who had been on the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. During his crime rampage, he had committed a variety of criminal acts in several U.S. states, including sexual assault, robbery, and carjacking, and he caused the death of one person working on a construction site in a hit and run accident while attempting to flee law enforcement. His spree ended on May 11, 2001, in a New York hotel when he was shot to death by law enforcement agents. He was 35 years old. It was believed that compulsive gambling was his motivation for his life of crime as he became desperate to obtain money for additional gambling.
