Maduravoyal is a residential neighbourhood located in the west of Chennai, India. As of 2011, the town had a population of 86,195. Maduravoyal also has a name as "ettam kal" (8th mile), so it could be famous in British Period too, it is exactly from Chennai Harbour, and Maduravoyal located 3 km from the west of Koyambedu area which is a major hub of activity in Chennai City. Chennai Bypass
The Chennai Bypass Road is a full-access controlled expressway that interconnects four radial Indian National Highways around Chennai, India covering a distance of from Perungalathur (near Tambaram) on NH-32 to puzhal on NH-16 via Maduravoyal at a cost of 4.05 billion. Constructed as part of the National Highway Development Project to decongest the city of transiting vehicles, the expressway interconnects NH-32, NH-48, NH-716 and NH-16. This expressway now forms a part of the circular transportation corridor. Chennai Harbour
Chennai Port, formerly known as Madras Port, is the second largest container port of India, behind Mumbai's Nhava Sheva. The port is the largest one in the Bay of Bengal. Porur
Porur () is a neighbourhood of Chennai, India. It is situated in the Maduravoyal taluk of Chennai district in the southern part of the city. Since 2011, it has been a part of the Chennai Corporation and included in zone number 11. Valasaravakkam
Valasaravakkam is a neighbourhood in the Chennai district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and a residential suburb of the city of Chennai. It is located in the Poonamallee Taluk at a distance of approximately 15 kilometres from the Kilometer Zero stone. Valasaravakkam lies on the Arcot Road, one of Chennai's arterial roads. Mogappair (also known as Dr. J. J. Nagar) is a residential neighborhood in north-western Chennai, India. It is located west of the Jawaharlal Nehru Road (Inner Ring Road) and is part of the Ambattur zone (7) of the Greater Chennai Corporation. Maduravoyal Junction
Maduravoyal Junction is an important junction in Chennai. It is located to the west of Koyambedu Junction at the intersection of National Highway 4 (India) (NH4) and Chennai Bypass. Maduravoyal Grade Separator A Cloverleaf interchange was constructed at this junction similar to the one in Kathipara Junction by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) as part of the 4050-million Chennai Bypass project (Phase II). The construction of the flyover was completed in June 2010. The project was delayed because of the loose soil at the junction. It was rectified by erecting pillars. The flyover has four loops that coalesce in a clover-shaped structure. Koyambedu
Koyambedu is a neighbourhood in Chennai, India. Situated in the western part of Chennai city, the Koyambedu area has become a major hub of activity in Chennai City after the inauguration of the Koyambedu market in 1996 and the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT) in 2002. The area is active round the clock owing to the movement of people and goods through the day, with uninterrupted transport facilities such as long-route buses, autos, share autos, vegetable goods carriers and so forth.
